BPF 37 weeks (Serenla) AW alert!

Full term! Woooo!
I have made it this far, which just feels odd to me. We are mostly ready except for the nursery, that has turned into such a hot mess. I think I mentioned in the past that we found lead in the nursery, my dad came down to help DH take care of it. However, as they were removing the window frame, the walls started falling apart and eventually had to be to torn down, where we found that there was no insulation in the walls. So now it is torn down to the studs with news insulation put in.
Obviously I'm glad that we were able to get this taken care of, but that room was something I had worked on for months as a creative outlet for my losses. It broke my heart to see it torn down and to know that I can't help rebuild it because I'm pregnant.
Anyway my Dad is coming again this weekend to help DH finish it and hopefully I will be able to move everything into the nursery soon.

Super bummer about the nursery, but at least it's getting taken care of now and will be one less thing to stress about later. Decorating can be an extension of your creative outlet on a fresh canvas.

I am so sorry to hear about all the issues with your nursery, but so glad you caught everything in time!  Can you imagine figuring all that out after LO arrives?  At least there's a SMIDGE of a bright side, right?

I'm so sorry to hear about the nursery. I cant imagine how you must feel knowing what that room meant to you. Just remember that you will want Finn near and dear in the beginning anyway, so hopefully you won't miss it. ((Hugs))

Boo about the nursery but at least good that problems got found and are getting fixed now rather than after Finn is here (on the outside), right?  Though still very sad to have the work and creativity you put into it undone.  The love you put into it can't be undone, at least.
