I love hand-me-downs. Seriously, I do. We've hardly spent any money on clothes for DD.
That said... I am so freaking sick of pink! I can't justify going out and buying her more clothes when she has two large dressers and a closet full of clothes (and that's only what fits her right now... the rest is stored in the attic). I've started giving her choice in what she wears... but it's hard to find something so that it's not "do you want the pink shirt or the pink shirt?"

Can you swap, sell, or donate some of what you don't like?

I had over 40 sleepers in the 0-3 month size. I have 1 sleeper in 6-9 month size. I organized everything by size then function and made a list for rummage sales.
I'm selling or donating excess in any size as well as stuff I don't like.

Completely unrelated... and I know it doesn't matter to anyone else..... but I am so ridiculously happy that it it raining today. Not snow! Rain! Which means the massive amounts of snow on my lawn are shrinking! Hopefully spring will be here soon! I want to plant things!
When I was in college, I had a relationship with an older (not as old as my parents) man. I ended the relationship when I decided to start dating my husband. That was over ten years ago.
I still think about him sometimes because he was amazing in bed. Incredibly amazing.

I don't like tea. I don't like coffee. I don't like beer. I don't like wine. And I've really tried to like them all multiple times and multiple kinds. I really, really wish I liked coffee some mornings....
I love doing naked baby time around the house. Sorry, her little tush is just to cute and I know before I know it, it just own't be the same as her trying to learn to crawl and sticking her bootie in the air.

I'm sorry but I CANNOT be friends with you! (Only joking)
I lied to SO about the wrap I got last week. I told him I won it in my dip group so I wouldn't get any crap for selling the wrap I won and spending an extra 100$ on it. It's something I've been looking for and I really really love it. I just don't always like hearing about money I spend.
Dh usually tells me as long as I actually use it, it's ok. But I have to use it. Like our wedding dishes we got. They aren't super fancy (fancy for us), like $150 for an entire set kind of fancy. So he likes to use them as our every day dishes! I usually get nervous cause I love how pretty they are compared to our every day dishes, but I guess he's right, dishes are meant to be used.

Screw him! I wanna kick him in the balls this week anyway! You and your wrap are beautiful
I claim to be an adult, but I secretly love Kool-Aid so much that I only rarely allow it in the house because, otherwise, I would drink like 5 glasses of it a day.

I also am not a big fan of Kool Aid. I kinda grew up on it and I'm just done with it. You have to add so much sugar to make the flavor taste good that it's like drinking sugar water.

LOL. I guess my post was a little wordy, but what I meant is I LOVE Kool-Aid. Love it. It's my secret shame.

I feel this way about marshmallows. I used to make various flavors of maple marshmallows for the farmers market, but I had to stop because I would just eat all the leftovers and had no restraint. Hm, I want to make marshmallows now... Barrel Aged Gin Maple Marshmallows.... BRB, gone to my happy place.
In S'mores! Oh God, Maple, please make marshmallows and go camping with me!
So we went to the Dells on our honeymoon. Just ouside of the Dells, there is this amazing Cat rescue. We paid for the private tour (which if you ever go, I highly recommend). The lady had the jumbo sized marshmallows for the kitties to encourage them to walk around so we could see how pretty they are. Even large cats love them. Haha. We also got to see a big box of catnip thrown in a cage, and a female had a birthday so she got a raw chicken.

Sorry, I understood your post. I meant that as an addition to my earlier post about not likeing tea, coffee, beer, and wine. I guess my drink repetoire is sadly lacking. Skim milk, juice, and diet soda, with some water thrown in (but water give me horrible heart burn) is about all I will drink.

Oh okay, haha. I get it. Well, you're wrong about all of those things. All of them. Especially the part where you drink skim milk and diet soda. Blech. Maybe you and @unaveragejane should start a club
A is in a really cuddly mood today but she won't stop farting, and the smell is seriously horrifying. I feel bad for not wanting her to cuddle with me right now.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,

Is it a FFFC that I drink the hell out of diet soda? I love milk and juice but there are so many sugar calories in juice and milk is expensive. Even with the artificial sweetners diet soda has to be better than other things I could be drinking, right?

LOL. I've been trying to get DS to say "excuse me" after he passes gas and he just looks at me like I'm so ridiculous and laughs.
@jcwinsto - I'm not a big Kool-aid person, either. I feel like the dye in that stuff is frying my brain. Yet here I sit drinking a Mt. Dew... I am not sure we can start a club, though. I'm a fan of good sweet tea in the summer and a hot cup of English Breakfast in the mornings.

Omg Stoney, me too! So we are on opposite ends of the food spectrum, but we like the same drinks. This could work. I can't make myself drink kool ade though bc it's total crap plus sugar. So it's not allowed in the house. But I crave it like crazy when pregnant.

My confession: LO punched me so hard in the bladder that I pissed myself. Luckily (?) I was in the shower so easy clean up. But the whole next day at work I was terrified it would happen again. I carried my water with me all day so I could dump it on my crotch if I did, then say I spilled my drink and go home.

@stoneycakes wants you to drink the Kool-Aid. She probably wants us all to drink the Kool-Aid.
I refuse to take any food or drink from Stoney at MommyCon.

Oh yeah, my confession... I finally gave up smocking DS's easter outfit. The pattern I picked is super complicated, but I didn't realize that at the outset. I texted my friend (the one who just had a double mastectomy and started chemo Wednesday), and she offered to finish it for me. I told her no b/c I didn't want to add stress to her life right now, but she insisted that she needs a project to keep her busy. I feel bad for even taking it to her, but she really wanted to do it so I'm also secretly relieved.
Also, I put DS down for his nap about an hour and 15 minutes later than normal, and he's still awake!!! He's quietly playing with his sleepy bunny, so I'm going to leave him alone and hope that he falls asleep soon.

Thanks so much! Things are rough right now. I have goals and am getting things done to improve. SO doesn't always like it or agree with it, but he can suck it. He needs to grow up before I decide this isn't worth the heartache.

Perfect! I lean towards a more liquid diet on vacation, anyway, so we should be just fine in Mexico
Here's a FFFC for you...I have a wedge of Parmesan cheese sitting out on my front lawn. Why, you ask? Because it fell out of a grocery bag this winter and I didn't realize it was missing until it was buried in snow. Now it has been exposed for a couple of days and I keep walking by it and going "Ick. I'll take care of that later." I am ridiculous.
Is it a FFFC that I drink the hell out of diet soda? I love milk and juice but there are so many sugar calories in juice and milk is expensive. Even with the artificial sweetners diet soda has to be better than other things I could be drinking, right?
you do know diet soda is pretty much one of the worst things you can drink, right? no judgement from me, i love pop and would drink it all day if i didn't feel such raging guilt about it, but it's seriously awful for you.
and how about this for a confession--i could have sex twice a year or less and be totally fine with it. and don't touch me or snuggle me or try to hold my hand. just...don't.
After Zara's cool post, I've been thinking about M turning a year old (in five days!!! What??) and I honestly don't want to stop breastfeeding. We both love it so much. But I guess I have smelly farts to look forward to in a couple years, huh?
