3 hour glucose test

So I had to do the 3 hour test today (thanks to all of you who shared your advice and encouragement!). I got there at 8, had the first blood draw, drank the yucky solution, had the second blood draw at 9...and then at 9:30 threw up the glucose and all the water I had been drinking. They called the lab, who said to go ahead and continue with the rest of the test. If the first two draws come back normal, I'm good to go. If they come back high, they will either make me re-take the test or just diagnose me with GD. If I do have to re-take it, they can give me an anti-nausea pill to take first and they said I might also be able to eat a little something beforehand and they can just note it for the lab. So after blood draw #4, I had my Rh shot, and then finally got to leave (and eat!). I feel like a human pincushion. I'm really hoping the results will just come back good and I can be done with it...I should know Monday or Tuesday.

I'm sorry!

I threw up during my 3 hr too, 15 minutes before the last blood draw. 

My results ended up coming back perfect, which I hope yours do too!

I threw up that orange stuff after my one hour but not until I got home. I hope your results come back fine! Let us know!

That stuff is horrible going down, can't imagine it was any better on the way up.

Hope your tests come back normal so you don't have to go through that again. Good luck!
