Introduction (loss mentioned & DS)

My name is Brandy and I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 2 years now.  I have a DS from a previous relationship who is getting ready to turn 16 yoa in a few months, I know seems crazy to start over.  We have been ttc for around 18 months now.  We are kind of stumped as to why we are having troubles.  I have a regular 28 day cycle and according to my opts I seem to be ovulating every month.  On 3/31/2014 I had an appointment with my OBGYN to go over some treatment courses as he is stumped as well and had to call a specialist.  So far I have had my FSH levels checked but we haven't gotten the results yet.  On 4/4 we were given great news that we had a BFP but my beta levels were low, in the 200s, and that didn't correlate with how far along I should have been.  Yesterday on 4/9 we were told my levels had dropped to the 100s and to expect a loss.  We are hoping to try again soon and I am looking to connect with others going through the same thing.

    Welcome! And so sorry for your loss.
    Me: +35 DH: +35
    TTC: Since January 2013 
    DX: PCOS. Severe Endometriosis, Unicornuate Uterus w/only left tube and left ovary, Pedunculated fibroid (on the outside of uterus) and Anovulation. All conditions diagnosed 8/13
    TX: Metformin
    DH DX: MFI - low morphology, low motility
    Ultrasound shows both kidneys in spite of UU. 
    HSG showed clear tube on the left side. 
    Lap Surgery performed 1/9/14 to remove fibroid and endo (Stage 3)
    • IUI# 1 June 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 13: BFN
    • IUI#2  July 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 5.75: BFN
    • Natural Cycle - so shocked to be in 2WW - 7dpo Progesterone: 15.5: BFN
    • Working with new RE starting injectables in late August.
    • IUI #3 August 2014  w/ Menopur: BFN
    • Finally ovulating on my own!!
    Waiting to start IVF hopefully

    Me:30 (anovulatory and mild endometriosis)   DH: 33 No issues
    Married 7/15/12
    Began TTC 3/2013
    First appointment with RE 7/2013
    8/2013 benched w/ cyst
    9/2013 100mg clomid w/ menopur/cancelled due to 15+ foll.
    10/2013 25 mg. clomid w/trigger shot/2 foll. canceled IUI
    11/2013 benched w/cyst
    12/2013 25 mg. clomid w/trigger shot and IUI 3 foll. BFN
    1/2014 25 mg. clomid w/ trigger shot and IUI 2 foll. BFN
    2/2014 took off-too emotionally drained
    3/2014 25 mg. clomid w/ trigger shot and IUI 2 foll. BFN
    4/2014 injectibles w/ trigger and prog. inserts  2 foll. BFP!!! 
    4/21/14 Beta #1 715 (18 dpo)

    IUI #1 January - Clomid, Ovidrel: BFN
    IUI #2 February - Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel: BFP 1st beta-25, 2nd beta-56, 3rd beta-45, miscarriage
    IUI #3 April - CD3 U/S 4-10. Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel CD11 - Cancelled.. TI w/5 follicles-BFN
    IUI #3.1 May - CD3 U/S 5-6, Follistim start 5-11 thru 5-17, u/s 5-18 3 mature w/ a close 4th, IUI 5-20 - BFP!
                 Beta #1 12dpo - 164 & progesterone - 89!, Beta #2 16 dpo - 1189, 5w3d - u/s shows TWINS!
                 6/19- u/s showed heartbeats! Baby A 111 & Baby B 118, both measuring 6w1d
                 7/3- Baby A hb 170, Baby B hb 166 - both measuring perfect.
                 7/18 - Baby A 165, Baby B 171 - both measuring right on track & moving all around!

    Update:  Today I spoke with my doctor and he said that on 4/11 my beta levels had dropped to 57.  He also said that 3 weeks ago what I thought was a normal "period" was actually my m/c.  I had no unusual bleeding, no cramps, and no abnormally big clots.  They are now referring us to a reproductive endocrinologist.  I hope this information helps someone else looking for answers.

    Married 8/6/2011 Me (26) DH (33) SA normal,HSG clear TTC since August 2011 7/2012 50mg Clomid+Trigger+IUI+progesterone =BFN 8/2012 100mg Clomid+estrogen+Trigger+IUI+progestrone=BFN 10/2012 100mg clomid+Gonal+Lupron+Trigger+Progestrone+IUI=BFP but ectopic.

    DX: 3/2014 Prolactinoma/Hyperprolactinemia- Started cabergoline 2/2014
    5/2014 Possible mild PCOS in addition to hyperprolactinemia??
    7/2014 Adding probable tubal factor to the diagnosis list
    9/2014 And now adding hypothyroid to the list- Started synthroid 9/2014
    Cycles 1-4 - Sept.-March- All Anovulatory 
    IUI #1 March/April-  Clomid 50mg + Clomid 100mg +Trigger + IUI #1 = BFN
     IUI #2 April/May-Clomid 100mg + Clomid 150mg + Trigger + IUI #2 + Endometrin=BFN
    IUI #3- June- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3  Benched due to a 40 mm cyst. :-(
    IUI #3- July- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3 + Endometrin = BFP! on 7/25/14
    Slowly rising betas - Ectopic suspected on 8/8/14 & confirmed on 8/11/14
    Methotrexate on 8/12/14 -HCG negative on 9/2/14
    IVF #1- November- Antagonist protocol: 11/1: start stims, 200iu of Follistim; 11/12 ER 17R/14M/14F; 11/17 5 day transfer of two blasts, 2 blasts and 2 expanding morulas frozen; 11/22 BFP!! (On FRER at 5dp5dt)
    Betas: 9dp5dt 205, 11dp5dt 497, 14dp5dt 1,709
    u/s at 5w0d- 1 sac; u/s at 6w0d 1 baby with heartbeat, another sac without a heartbeat
