JuJuBe Be Prepared Diaper Bag

I'm pretty sure I've read a post about diaper bags in general for twins here, but I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with the JuJuBe Be Prepared bag? I currently use the BFF bag and really like the style, so I was thinking of getting the Be Prepared since it's similar, just way bigger. I'll have 3 in diapers, too, so I'm just wondering if any of you MoMs have any experience with this particular bag, or what do you recommend, especially if you have twins plus a toddler? Thanks for any advice! :)

Re: JuJuBe Be Prepared Diaper Bag

  • I dot have the Be prepared but I do have the petunia pickle bottom abundance boxy ( the large version) and have my twins plus a toddler. And I LOVE this bag. It can hold so much stuff, it's super durable ( all boys here so if you can only imagine the beating this bag takes!) the built in hanging station has come in handy on many occasions, I like that it can be worn as a back pack, it's easy to clean, and quality is excellent! Also with the large size in the changing station part tree are segments for three kids and their individual needs if that makes sense. It's also very lightweight for the size.

  • @TheDairyQueenx3 Thank you for your advice! Those are the two bags I'm looking at, too.

Which bag is it that you like best? Or do you find both work well? I always thought the PPP bags just seemed like open bags, like stuff seemed harder to find than in the JuJuBe bags.

  • I'm planning on getting a Be Prepared.  I love how organized the BFF is, so I'm thinking I will like it.  I will have three in cloth diapers, so I will definitely need the room for awhile.

  • I only have 2 infants but I bought the BFF orginally and returned it since I was planning on doing CD and didn't feel it was big enough. I then bought the Be Prepared and really liked it but since it doesn't have the backpack straps it didn't work for me. It was quite annoying to be carrying both carseats and only have the shoulder strap which kept falling down.

Then I didn't CD so ended up with a J Cole backpack style bag instead. But after looking at both the JJB and PPP I really like the insides of the JJB bags better. The storage and contrasting color inside are great!

  • What is the PPP bag? What does that stand for? I'm interested in getting more info on it online
  • @Angelahelena‌ PPP she meant PPB which stands for Petunia Pickle Bottom. They are kind of pricey but you can find them on resale sites sometimes!

PPB abundance boxy backpack hands down. I looked at the smaller version first but ended up going with the large size and I am very glad I did. I don't have an issue with needed 200 pockets on the inside. But seriously the changing station is what sold it for me. the little fold out bed is so squishy and quite large and having everything organized right there individually for each child's needs is very nice so I dont have to go into the diaper bag and dig around for cream, wipes, etc. The inside of the bag holds A LOT and there is just enough pockets for my liking. I returned the JJBP for this one.

ETA: I can add some pictures of mine so you can see how much it actually holds. The website doesnt do a very good job at showing the inside of the bag

  • Thanks so much for all of your responses! And yes, I meant PPB (dunno what I was thinking haha). I'm still so confused, but I think I'll figure it out... BTW I probably will bottle feed so that is a consideration I suppose.

@TheDairyQueenx3 if you have some pics to share that could be helpful! Thanks!

  • Do you have pics of inside bc the website lacks them
  • For those of you who have the PPB boxy backpack, does anyone have the regular one rather than the abundance?  I will have 4 kids (3 in diapers, 1 as a toddler), but I am also not a "bring my whole life in the diaper bag" type.  I am more concerned about not being able to carry a ginormous diaper bag with my little ones.  I read about a lot of twin mamas having the boxy backpack, and thought at least some were referring to the original one...

  • I took everything out so you can see inside but it has to elastic banded pockets on the side, 3 regular pockets, a zippered pocket that's a great size ( that's my sons nabi in it), a clip for keys, two big pockets on the outside for water bottles or whatever you want, the diaper station zips up to close as does the top and it also has a magnetic closure. All the straps are removable and it hangs nicely on any kind of stroller. But this thing is absolutely huge. I also like the diaper changing pad is remove able if needed.

  • Keys I clip on the key clip, Chapstick and other makeup related items I keep in a small bag inside the middle inside pocket as well as my iPhone. My wallet is in the side elastic pocket you can see in the second picture. I keep a nalagine water bottle on the outside left and easy snacks on the opposite outside pocket, then that leaves me with two free pockets that I keep a toothbrush holder filled with bendy straws for my toddler since most restaurants don't have them, I also keep toddler silver wear and bibs for the babies in that one. I the other I have a mini medical kit sun block and extra pacifiers. Then a few random toys in the big compartment. depending on where we are going I can fit up to 4 changes of clothes per kid in there with extra room. There is other stuff I there too but that's generally the main items.

I have this PPB. I, also, have 4 kids, 3 in diapers. I love it. I get everything I need in it. I found mine for $100 at pottery barn kids, before I knew about the twins and had just found out I was pregos. So, I was nervous that I would need abundance size. But it's actually been perfect for us. I have diapers and wipes for all. Change of clothes for twins, random toys and such needed for whatever the plans are that day. And room for phone, giant wallet and mommy stuff. Now if only it had a cup holder for my coffee...

I have the regular PPB. I love it but I only have twins so I'm not sure what to tell you. I'm not a "bring everything" person either. I've never needed anything larger. But I've never crossed stages with it either.

I ordered both PPB and the Be Prepared from Nordstroms.com to compare (since no stores around me
carried either!) and after stuffing each with things I imagine I would need for twins, I decided the Be Prepared was more for me. I have to admit I was a bit sad cause I love the look of the PPB! It's beautiful! I am happy I chose the Be Prepared one though!
  • I'm not sure if I allowed to post this here, but I have the Be Prepared that I haven't used and was planning to sell if you're interested. You can PM me. Its the black one.
