Quick Question

I had my routine appointment today. My midwife mentioned that usually the baby will not hiccup for a day or two right before real/active labor begins. Has anyone experienced that? 

I am not saying I want to go into labor or that I am going to be a psycho checking when my baby is hiccuping, but I am just curious if anyone has experienced that. I have NEVER heard of that before, so it struck me as hilarious but nothing serious. 

I still have 3 weeks to go, and I am way relaxed now, but just thought it was funny that if the baby doesn't hiccup it means labor is coming? Weird.

Nope, never heard of that before and it certainly was not true for me.

Never heard that.  In fact, my second had the hiccups a lot the day before I went into labor (39 weeks with him).  And I was thinking about it yesterday because the hiccups were pretty frequent yesterday with this little guy.

I rarely if ever get hiccups at all, haven't gone into labour yet!

My baby doesn't hiccup every day so I wouldn't even think anything of it if she didn't for a day or two. That sounds odd.
