Do any of you have that one person in your life that just makes you cringe when they touch your baby?

BD's little sister comes to visit regularly, and she is not a very hygienic person, on top of the fact that she smokes... To be honest I also just don't like her.
I am not the type to cause unnecessary drama, but the last time she came to see him not only did she reek of cigarettes, but she looked and smelled like she hadn't showered in a week and then wanted to be close to LO. Luckily he was fussy, and we were able to exit the situation.
I wish there were something I could do, but I just have to grin and bear it!

I wouldn't let anyone smelling of smoke hold LO. Babies can inhale the smoke from clothes. Be honest and tell her she can't hold LO.

Make a baby holding shirt. Buy a large t-shirt and make anyone who smokes wear it if they want to hold baby and enforce the hand washing rule.

StepMIL and FIL because they refused the tdap and she smokes. They've only come once and I'm not in a hurry to invite them.

DH has little brothers and sisters and I cringe when they ask to hold her. I don't want their germy hands on my kid. And no amount of hand sanitizer will make them clean.

I'm terrified of this. My baby's fathers sisters want to come see the baby (even though he hasn't .. But that's a different story)

Not only have I never met them.. From what I see they come off unkempt and the only word I can think of.. "ghetto"

And the smoking thing is a big thing too. I don't want to give her to anyone who smokes.

I am so glad I'm not the only one.
I can understand smoking since I used to do it before I got pregnant with LO (never again). But she just doesn't bathe!
Also, she kissed the baby so close to his mouth the other day I nearly reached out and smacked her. SMH!

I won't even let MH hold our daughter until he changes and washes up after smoking. He has something similar to @PerkyErky‌'so idea - he changes into his designated smoking shirt before he goes outside.
