NCDR, Rec your firm crib mattress

DS will be 20 months when our new LO arrives and I just don't think it's going to be time to transition him to a big kid bed. He may surprise us but... anyway, I don't like the mattress we have in his crib now, it's okay but it's not as firm as I'd like if I'm going to be buying another one. Whatcha got for me ladies?

We''ve been using this one for a little under a year with chunky 9-18 month old. So far it's held up well and still feels as firm as when it was new.

We got the Safety First Grow-with-Me mattress. It's super firm on one side, for newborns, and then the other side is softer for toddler use late on.

I checked lots of reviews vs. prices and we picked this one because it's just a touch larger than most other mattresses (although size is something that is regulated for crib mattresses) so it fits very snuggley in the crib, no gaps anywhere, which I like from a safety stand point.
