Does anyone know if there is away to turn off the ability for friends to 'share' my post?

I don't believe there is.  If you put it on there, your friends have the ability to share it. The only way to avoid it, I believe is to not post it.

Who is sharing your photos? You can ask them to stop... Although if they share it, their audience is far more restricted than if they are tagged in it.

If there are some pics you're okay sharing, do that, and restrict the other photos from view of whoever is over sharing.

They can always save the image and then post it themselves if sharing doesn't work ... The one going that I hate about Facebook so much is that it's so easy to copy anyone's photo ..

So one thing that I did to prevent this, is that I created a "secret" group and invited those close to me. The images and such posted there cannot be shared, however there is nothing to stop someone from downloading and reposting. Choose the people you want in the group wisely, and I would explain that if anyone wants to "repost" things that they clear it with you first.

Thanks y'all! My MIL, shockingly enough, shares everything I post having to do with LO. I know she is just excited and proud, but I'm not sure who can see it from there. Which makes me a bit uncomfortable. However, I'm putting it on the internet myself and really it's out there forever regardless.

Thanks for your suggestions...I'm going to have to set up one of those secret groups!
