We are in the middle of our DEIVF cycle! ER is expected next week! I should get an update today on how the cycle is going!  Nervous!  I am so not in control and for a control freak that is very scary.

I met my DH online. We became fast friends.  I was still hung up on a past relationship.  But my DH and I would meet up for coffee dates and movies on and off for several years.  He always wanted more and I just wasn't ready.  He got mad and we didn't speak for a year. I really missed him and one night was a bit tipsy and called him.  The rest is history- we haven't been apart since

I "met" DH online - eHarmony. Our first date was a bust. LOL. It was a Friday night, I hadn't been sleeping well for over a week and I had to work the next morning. .. it was not pretty. Luckily, we had a second date a few weeks later... then a third and the rest is history.

NTNP for three months and then TTC#2 for two months

Temping, taking PNV, and monitoring CM. I just ordered Wondfo OPKs and HPTs from Amazon, so I'm excited to start using more data.

4. Where are you in your cycle? ( Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? Experiencing any weird "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww? 

CD3. I just started my PPP.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) 

I am excited that FF will be able to assist me better. It hasn't identified my PP O yet, but after one complete cycle, I think it can help me.

How did you meet your spouse/significant other?  Was it love at first sight?

We were living in DC, and we met on the National Mall after our parents connected us. My mom and his dad used to work together in Illinois, and they suggested that we connect when I moved to Northern Virginia for grad school.

It was not love at first sight. He grew on me.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? Very discouraged.  I've talked further with my OB, and what she had to say didn't make me feel any better about my borderline/crappy CD 3 tests.

e-Harmony, too.  We should see if they'd pay us to do some kind of group commercial!  It wasn't love at first sight, but it was a really fun day (we went to the zoo, then watched the Pride parade.)  Significant like at first sight?

We met online, Plenty Of Fish. I was at my wits end with dating. But his first message made me laugh and I knew he was something special from that moment. 2 weeks later, we had our first date and the rest is history.

3. In the midst of IVF #2

4. I'm on day 6 of stimming. Had a monitoring u/s and b/w this am.  Everything looks good and we've got follies growing.  Starting to feel the cramp and bloat from the meds, but I'll take it.  Hopefully only about 5 more days of stimms and then onto retrieval and PGD testing.  Yay! I'm more than half way through all the shots, so thankful for that.

5. I'm anxious and excited to see what we get.  I do think that we will have to bank and do another retrieval, though.  This am's u/s only showed 5 follicles of appropriate size. However the resident that did my u/s was the same one that did my first one last fall. At that time she said oh you may be cancelled as there isn't much growth here. She was so wrong and we ended up retrieving 13 eggs.  I take her counting skills as not too accurate ever since then.    We'll see what they see in two days on Friday am as that will be my next u/s.

We met in graduate school.  I sat behind him in class.  It was stadium seating so I was above him and on the first day he had his leather coat on the back of the seat in front o me. I am short and tend to put my feet up on seats when I can.  To this day he claims I stepped all over his coat that day, but I distinctly remember pushing it over so I had my feet on the non coat half.  We will never see eye to eye on that subject, lol.  During that semester a bunch of us made friends with one another and worked closely together.  He and I would IM for hours and got to know one another very well.   About six months later we started to date and the rest is history.  Perhaps not love at first sight, but rather love at first IM.

5. Talked to coordinator this morning and so far so good. I'm starting to get excited like butterflies in the stomach I know others who have tried many DE cycles before it worked and others who got pg on first try. I am really going to be positive about this. I know what can happen but I'm not going there. Can't believe this is happening in few weeks!!!

QOTW: Blind date set up by my boss and actually his boss too. I'm her nanny and he works for her company. I cancelled 3 times that day because I was so sick with flu. Ended up going to meet him. I've been on so many blind dates after my divorce what was one more. It went well but I was so mad that I couldn't drink to calm my nerves! No it wasn't love at first sight.

QOTW:
Met my husband through mutual friends (we actually went to high school together but didn't know each other). First time we talked was at a bar and I said to my friend that it was like pulling teeth to try and have a conversation with him. He is not very social and just wanted to sit and have his beer. Well a few more encounters like that and then at a New Years party he started talking to me and the rest is history. Lol it took me over a year to say I love you. We have been together over 15 years.

I got a super squinter. Not sure what to think. There is a line, but maybe it's an evap. It's so faint I can't tell if there is any color.  My temp shot up at 8 dpo and has stayed higher so that has me hopefull.  But  I have bad cramps like AF is knocking at my door.  It's going to be a long wait until tomorrow morning to test again. I don't want to say anything to my husband, he will think I'm nuts and the test is defective.  Aaaaaggh.

QOTW:  We met at our local dive bar through a mutal friend.  I had just moved back to Pittsburgh after 9 years or so, and my friend wanted to go out.  I wasn't in the mood to go out but she talked me into it. (Probably didn't have to twist my arm too hard!)  He was friends with a group of our high school friends but didn't go to our school.  That was 13 years ago!

So much fun reading everyone's stories!

We met through a friend. A group of us were getting together, but at the last minute, the organizer (mutual friend) got sick and turned over plans to DH, who promptly changed the meeting location. Which I didn't find out about until I had already driven across town to the original location. So I started out being pretty annoyed with him. Plus he was wearing these nerdy blue blocker sunglasses, so it was definitely not love at first sight. But he grew on me pretty quickly... six months later he came home for Christmas

Not charting or temping, just tracking my cycle right now. Focusing on the fun part; will likely let the analysis overtake me this summer, when school is out and I get my brain back.

DH and I met at university. We were both going back to school as mature students to get our teaching degrees. I was interested; he only wanted to be friends, so I told him that his friendship was better than nothing. We spent that year hanging out (in person or online, when we did our internships apart), having fb 'chat' dates, and going for dinner and drinks as friends.

One evening we stopped being friends... spent six weeks on a summer romance, because he had accepted a job on the other side of the province. When he left, we were both heartsick, and within two weeks he asked me to join him. The rest is history! He's an awesome step-dad, and an amazing husband. Taking one more chance on love was totally worth it!

QOTW: 
We met at the local coffee shop in town. We had both been in town for years, worked out at the same gym, shopped in the same stores... never ran into each other. We met on DH's birthday while each getting something hot to drink on a cold night. Love at first sight... no. I was swearing off relationships at that time. More like best friends who a short time later realized that we couldn't imagine life without each other.  I feel like I'm a lucky lady to have my DH.

2. TTC#1 for us, really, though we did consider TTC-ing just before Tove was conceived, and then we got him, so never bothered.
3. My sister and her partner have finally picked their sperm donor, so we think we'll have our first IVF in July, though if syncing all our cycles is easier than expected, it may be as early as June. My FI also asked to get a few fertility tests done a last week, just as a kind of last-minute panic he had, and as we had expected they all came back absolutely fine.
4. I think i am about CD 26 now, but I'm not 100% sure.
5. I am really nervous now about finally getting started.

QOTW: When we were in third year of University (him in Amsterdam, me in Edinburgh), we both did a study abroad year to the same University in Sweden, and we had two classes together, one of which we sat together, and we kind of hit it off right away. I wouldn't say it was love at first sight, but it was certainly lust at first sight. We only dated for three months, at which point I went back to Edinburgh (I only did one semester) but he was doing a full year over there, and I couldn't afford to keep going over to visit him, and we just kind of grew apart, and broke up. Then a few years later, I was working in Sweden, and he went over for a holiday, and we bumped in to each other, and kind of fell back into the relationship where we had left off. And somehow, even though he stayed in Amsterdam then, it just kind of worked, and we've been together ever since then.

4. CD 15 waiting to O. I was away for a week and was getting little cramps like I associate with ovulation. Got home yesterday morning and tested OPK positive! I hadn't tested while away. So we BD last night even tho DH has a cold.

5. Hopeful but hoping we didn't miss a good day by getting back from my trip late. My CM is not egg white it's more creamy watery.

3. This is an off cycle (failed IVF#2 last cycle, Natural FET next cycle.)  Been seeing RE since July 2012. 

4. On CD31, waiting for AF.  Should be any day... have noticed since starting IUIs and IVF my cycles are longer.  Tested Monday just in case (BFN) will test again tomorrow if nothing (my cycles are now averaging 32 - 34 days).  Once AF arrives (traveling this mth so didn't chart or use OPKs, only BD on CD15 therefore assuming AF will eventually arrive), will do baseline and start Natural FET cycle.

5. Just want AF to arrive so we can start the FET.

QOTW: 
We met through a mutual friend but it wasn't a set up.  I was in b-school and a bunch of us were going out after class.  The venue changed since one guy (mutual friend) also wanted to meet up with some of his college buddies at a newish nightclub in the Meatpacking district.  DH was one of those buddies.  We talked a lot that night and he asked for my number but I didn't really think anything of it - and wasn't really looking (busy with work full time and emba program full time).  He called the next day to ask me out - when we did finally go out a few weeks later we had a nice time, but it definitely wasn't love at first sight.  Of course it evolved into love over time

@pinksandbermuda that is a line FX that it gets darker... please remember when you post a bfp to put a warning. It is really difficult for ladies who are struggling or grieving sometimes.  We are happy for you and wish you the best.  Please keep updating so we can share with you but just be a little sensitive please.. thanks!

3. As @Astrabacus so wonderfully said, Laire and I have picked a sperm donor. We got 98% compatibility on the test we did for personality, and 80% for looks for me, which is pretty good, I think. We'll be IVF-ing in June or July.

5. We're really excited about it!

QOTW: We met at pole dancing lessons. It was a really small class, and one week we ended up on the same pole. We got talking, and at the time I didn't really think much of her, but it was lust at first sight for Laire, haha. We went out together with some mutual pole dancing friends, got pissed and ended up having sex at her best friends house :-/.  We didn't talk for a long time after that, since I was kind of reeling from the fact that I'd had sex with a woman and was engaged to a man, but about 8 years later, after I'd split from my FI and was happily out as a lesbian, I found her on facebook, and just kind of on a whim asked her out on a date. And that was us really. The second time around is was definitely lust at first sight for me, and she was the one who took her time, haha.

3. Just using OPKs for now, I don't think I'm going to temp this time around, planning on engaging with my RE this summer if needed to potentially talk about medicated IUI, I think IVF is off the table. I started taking additional folic acid and Coq10 again for the hell of it.

4. Got my +opk yesterday, BD last night. Officially in the TWW now, that will probably be our only ttc session this week, so I'm not hopeful but what the hell you never know!

Oops, forgot to post earlier, my best friend was bartending and introduced DH and I, I was just getting out of a serious relationship so we took it very slow, I dated a few other guys at the same time, but he stuck on me, he is truly my best friend and14yrs later the rest is history!

2, 3, & 4.  Attempt #1 postponed for another month due to illness :[  See #5.

5.   Annoyed & frustrated but resigned.  Last week I ended up with a head cold that mutated into a sinus infection & bronchitis, so now I'm medicated to the gills and slurping chicken soup in an effort to shake it off.  I know it's only one more month, I'm just a bit bummed out by it.  Although I suppose it's just as well we're waiting, the hacking cough isn't putting either of us in the baby-making mood  8-|

Online!   It wasn't a dating site, but we were enjoying chatting with each other so much, he asked if I wanted to grab a drink sometime and I said yeppers.  It wasn't love at first sight, but seeing as how by week 3 we were living together, you could say it was darn close

4. Not planning to test, will redo tests with the RE next month and then plan for an IUI cycle I think.

We meet in grad school.  We became friends when we were both 'senior' and starting helping the new kids.  It took a few months then we started dating and married 3 years later when we both were finished with school.

3. Just keeping at it.  Temping again this cycle and OPKs.

4. Got a smiley face on my OPK this afternoon, so O should be imminent...  Feeling pretty good about this month so far.

5. We first met at a pick-up dek hockey game (like street hockey, played on a roller hockey rink). I thought he seemed nice, and was cute, but too young for me.  A friend invited him onto our broomball team (hard to describe - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broomball).  I was sort of seeing someone, then he was sort of seeing someone, and meanwhile we got to be friends.  Eventually I decided he was a really great guy, and I was being silly about the age thing, and that was that.
