Hi Lovely Ladies! Much more positive news this week, thank you as always @Allison7 for remembering and being so kind- all tests came back normal, A/S is perfect, baby is measuring right on schedule and we are STILL team green! I can't believe we made it through the whole scan without breaking down and asking- I was really tempted. I think DH is even more firmly team green now- he was on the fence at first but deferred to my wishes, and now seems more opposed to finding out than I am. Makes shopping harder but who am I to complain about more shopping!

@ThoseThreeWords, I too am very excited to see DH with our baby- he has always been so nervous around infants but I just know that it's going to come very naturally to him. If I had to choose one thing (of many, like wine, or running fast, or taking family walks with our dogs, or finally holding the tiny hands I saw this morning) that I'm looking forward to I think this would be it.

I'm 21w3d today, we had our anatomy scan last week and we are double team PINK! We are super excited but I think my husband is slightly petrified of having two girls. I'm sure they will have him wrapped around their little fingers in no time. We're tossing around names and starting to get the nursery planned as well as registering since my mother has instilled a deadline of April 15th for the invites to go out. The twins still have their 3AM dance parties but I'm starting to feel them more during the day depending on what I'm doing.

QOTW: @ThoseThreeWords, I was joking with my husband the other day that my perfect day of food after the babies are here consists of eggs Benedict for breakfast, a turkey sandwich for lunch and sushi with a glass of Pino Grigio for dinner. So I'm with you on the sushi and wine! I really can't wait to see DH holding both of his girls, he is so excited to be a dad that it melts my heart when I hear him talk about it.

Hello All! Well, I am 20 weeks and 3 days, so we are officially over half baked! I am excited that the weeks seem to be moving quickly. I signed up for the registry last week and bought a crib, so when my mom comes back to town next week I plan to go to the store and actually put some items on that registry list. My mom has also started discussing the shower. We have decided on a location and I think I narrowed down the date. All of this is starting to make it feel a little more real. Well, that, feeling LO, and the tremendous heartburn I get. LO has decided that the middle of the night is a good time to kick the crap out of my stomach :oP

QOTW: I think that I am most looking forward to bringing her home. Of course I am excited to meet her and to see DH interact with her (he is really bad at holding babies, so that is going to be interesting), but I can't wait to bring her home. To introduce her to her furbaby siblings. To have her be in her room. I guess I see bringing home baby as the real symbolic end to the IF journey.

Hi Ladies!! I'm 25w4d with the twinsies. I passed my glucose test from last week, so I was very happy about that!! I'm feeling great, but sleeping is getting more and more uncomfortable!! And it doesn't help that the babies are partying it up at night when I am trying to fall asleep. Other than that, I am officially in the books with a c-section date of July, 8 (12 weeks from today, ahhh!!). I'm not for sure having one, but they wanted to get me on the schedule. 

QOTW: Non-baby related, I am most looking forward to some cocktails, raw fish in my sushi (the cooked stuff has been doing the job, but it still isn't the same), and being able to do spin class again. Baby related, I have been dreaming of the moment when they put my babies in my arms for the very first time. I tear up just thinking about it.  And of course, finally becoming a mom, experiencing all the "firsts", and I can't wait to be the one pushing around a stroller, like I have watched so many others get to do for so long!

I'm 19 wks with twin (fraternal) girls. I'm still on bed rest due to placenta previa bleeding but I haven't bled in almost a week. We have our A/S tomorrow and then see the regular OB. I am hoping he will let me go back to work at least part time as long as I don't get any bleeding or cramping. I have been able to do some work from home this week which has helped. 

I'm very excited b/c I'm 90% sure I'm now feeling the babies move sometimes!

Hi ladies sorry I think I missed last weeks check in. I'm 24 weeks and feeling good for the most part. My backside is a little sore from the weekly progesterone injections but if that's all I'm definitely not going to complain.

Had our monthly appointment last week and baby sounded great. Still Team Green but of course everyone is making their guesses. I found out at my appointment that I have to repeat the glucose tolerance test again at 28 weeks even though I already passed the early 3-hour test this time around. I thought it meant I was in the clear and didn't have to go through that yucky test again so I'm a little bummed about that. Just pray its still fine.

I can't wait to see DD with her new little brother or sister! I feel so blessed that we were able to give her a sibling and I really think she is going to be the best/sweetest big sister ever.

Hi ladies! I'll be 23 weeks on Thursday. And then it's just one week from V-day. Can't wait! Sunday, DH felt baby kick from the outside. That was a really special experience. Other than that, I have my GTT test at the 24 week mark and am pretty sure I'm going to fail since I'm insulin resistant to begin with. Just preparing myself!

QOTW: Probably reading to LO curled up on my lap. I picture her damp hair from her nighttime bath, smelling as sweet as any little one could, all snuggled up with sleepy eyes as I read some of her favorite books to her. These are some of my favorite memories with my mom and I can't wait to share them on the other side of things with our sweet baby girl!

24 weeks 2 days here. I guess I had "V-day" on Sunday?

I have my first appointment with my second new ob's office next Monday. I decided to definitely switch because the other hospital was just a deal breaker for me and I felt much more comfortable delivering at the hospital this new doctor's office has privileges at. I have also heard nothing but good things about this office, so hopefully I like it too!

QOTW: I just can't wait to have him in my arms and can't wait to be a family doing family things together! I am crazy and have already booked a photo shoot for November so I can get a few professional shots for his first Christmas card!

Hi Everyone! I've been missing these check ins lately - I guess being busier at work keeps me off TB! ha ha.

I'm 19w3d today, Due 8/30.  Going for the 20 week U/S and Level 2 U/S Friday. if the U/S doesn't show anything serious then I think that's all the further we'll take the genetic testing. Team Green for now.

I think I felt the bean move Sunday night. But I haven't felt it since so I'm not sure. It felt much too close to the surface to be gas or other stuff moving around in there. And of course it was in the middle of the night and then I couldn't sleep afterward! I was a total zombie on Monday.

QOTW: What are you looking forward to most after LO is born?  Oh man, so much!  Having a margarita, being off work, enjoying our first holidays with the LO (especially Halloween!)

I'm 21w4d and at 21 weeks exactly I started feeling the babies move. I'm fairly certain they are taking turns practicing for a Riverdance performance. I have my weekly OB appt tomorrow and an appt with the MFM on Monday. Last Wednesday I received results from LabCorp that indicate I had a CMV infection at some point, yet I haven't been able to get my MFM's office to explain the results to me. Yesterday they said they hadn't received the results and would try to get them today. It's 4pm and I haven't heard a peep from them. In better news...the nursery furniture arrived today. Also, I finally placed an order for custom nursery bedding that I've been contemplating for over a month. It's been really hard to move forward with getting the nursery ready when sometimes I feel uncertain if I'll bring two, one or no babies home.

QOTW: I'm looking forward to not being PG anymore. It hasn't been a horrible experience, but it also hasn't been the joyful one I'd always thought it would be. I just want to hold my babies in my arms and know that they are ok. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer! :-q

Hi ladies! I'm 18w6d today, and checking in from my trip to merry old England. Our anatomy scan was last week -- early at 18 weeks. Everything checked out ok, but they do want me to come back when I'm back in town since baby will be a bit more developed by then and they can get better views. She was also facing toward my back, so we didn't get any great pics. But they said nothing looked worrying. And a test for spina bifida came back negative. Yay! Also, today someone asked me how far along I am...so she recognized I was pregnant without me saying anything. That's crazy exciting. 

QOTW: I cannot wait for the moment DH and I get to meet LO. And I'm with you ladies...seeing DH hold her the first time is going to make me cry like a little baby.

Hey ladies,

I am glad to see such positive news in everyone's replies. I have an appointment on Thursday and I meet another of the doctor's in the practice so I have a list of questions already. I feel like time is going by pretty slowly between appointments so I am ready for that to change. I have my home doppler and I am still getting a heartbeat so that's good.

Also went to my first baby stores this weekend. I avoided them while going through treatments but finally went with a neighbor of mine who is also pregnant. (She's 4 weeks ahead of me, its kinda crazy cause we have had 5 babies born in the neighborhood in the last year and its just a circle of maybe 45 homes) I felt like I really didn't belong in the baby stores. Maybe its just because IF was soo emotionally draining, who knows. I did buy myself a pregnancy journal, so maybe one day LO will enjoy reading that.

QOTW: Non baby related-Having the occasional alcoholic drink and being able to go on rollercoasters. I am so grateful I am pregnant though. Baby related-Just like most of you seeing DH with him/her. I can't wait to see how my furbabies react too.

19 weeks tomorrow, getting close to half-baked which I can hardly believe.  Next OB app't isn't for another couple of weeks, so not much new to report.  I still haven't felt Munchkin yet, hopefully soon.  I am having a lot of trouble sleeping - we go to bed around 10 or 11 (or 11.30 if DH works super-late and needs time to unwind) and then I wake up at 2 or 3 and I'm awake for two to three hours.  Last night, I must have been so completely worn out that I think I slept like a log - didn't move at all.  That was awesome and I would like a repeat!

QOTW: In addition to seeing DH hold our daughter (and he's a natural with kids, one of the things that made me fall in love with him was seeing him with my good friends' twin daughters) I am really looking forward to her naming ceremony on her 8th day, and blessing her on her first Shabbat.  DH and I settled on her name a while back (but I reserved the right to change it if we meet her and decide it doesn't fit) and have been thinking about what we'll each say to explain why we chose those names and what they mean to us.

21w2d today! I have had an eventful week...last week i almost passed out at work and ended up leavinf and yesterday I came down with some kind of 24 hr flu and was at home puking all day. Im feeling much better today but have a new respect for all you ladies who have dealt with MS. Other than that the BH have let up a lot and are occassional throughout the day. Just always tired now.

Qotw: im most excited to just have our little family and watch my H as a daddy and my mom with her grandson. Just for all the events and activities well get to share together!

Non baby related...wine and beer on our front porch!! Ah and a HOT bath

26w2d today.  Glucose test and ultrasound tomorrow (thanks @Allison7 for remembering)!  I am not worried about taking the glucose test but I will feel more relaxed once I know I've passed (hopefully).  I'm generally just excited about the ultrasound -- it's the first time I've been excited about one without also being nervous, because now that I can feel regular (and vigorous!) movement, I know he's basically OK.  The ultrasound is just a growth check and to see if my placenta has moved (previa).  We haven't seen him in 9 weeks so I'm excited to see how big he is!  I'm hoping we can get a 3D shot of him as well.  I always thought 3D ultrasounds were kind of creepy, but once it was my own baby, I realized how cool it would be to get a sneak peak at what he looks like.

I'm feeling pretty good.  Trying to be good about eating, working out and prenatal yoga.  My lower back is starting to get sore, but I knew I would get there eventually.  Next week will be my last check in here before going over to 3rd trimester!  It blows my mind.

QOTW: Wine, medium rare steak, introducing our son to friends and family, and QT as a family of 3!

I will be 23 weeks this week, and this is starting to get real :-) I was given the consent for my c-section at my last ob appointment and just registered for breast feeding and baby classes. Next week we have a fetal echo and growth ultrasound, and I'm looking forward to seeing Gracie again.

QOTD: I'm most looking forward to kissing her head and her little toes...not sure why but I have been thinking about that for so long.

18 weeks and 2 days today. I did have lots of appts last week thanks for asking @Allison7! Dietician went well... from what I gathered I just need to limit carbs which I can do if I have too! OB was also good... I love that he can find the HB right away now! Also MSAFP was normal, it's just a screening but it was nice to know there is jo concern for defects.

I have my a/s on Thursday and I'm so excited to see this little baby. Last u/s was at 9 weeks so I'm sure quite a bit has happened in there. I'm so ready to get our nursery going so I hope this baby isn't shy! I have all our furniture in the hallway but before we can put that together we need new carpet and before that we have to paint and I need a sex to pick a color... most of my friends have guessed girl so we'll see if they are right!

My mom is so kind to tell me how I look pregnant. I think since I'm overweight this round belly just makes me self conscious. Not that my mom is being negative in anyway... she is so excited to be a grandma!

QOTW: Not having to pee 100 times a day! And I can't wait to meet this LO!

I think I'm 19 weeks...how sad is it that I have to check my bump sigs to keep track for me. Anyway, we are team green. This week I was able to score the last, discontinued crib at buy buy baby to match the one I bought for my son last year. Now I'll have two matching cribs so now only DS needs a new bed.

still can't feel the twins move which I am totally ok with for now. Everything else is status quo. I'm too busy to be as nervous w this pregnancy so I'm actually enjoying it.

QOTW: looking forward to sushi and wine for sure! Baby related - I'm looking forward to two babies sleeping through the night in their cribs and outta my room (applies to my son as well who sleeps between my husband and I which we don't like for baby safety and marital harmony reasons!)

Hello girls!

I will be 27 weeks tomorrow! Things are going well. I'm back to sleeping normal (tossed my pregnancy pillow) and I have my GD test this week.

Today is also a fab day because my first little IVF girl turned three today! I cannot believe it's been three years since I've given birth to her. The time goes really fast you ladies! Soak it up!

QOTW: I'm actually excited to see DD as a big sister. She is very excited and asked me today how many days there were until July. I also can wait to be able to bend over and pick up DDs toys comfortably without my stomach in the way!

Hey all! 23w1d trucking right along. Carrot is doing gymnastics daily at least! Fun to watch and poke on, altho DH is afraid it'll get hurt! Lol! Next appt isn't til after Easter. Just enjoying the moment. Got our travel system in from amazon yesterday...MIL won't let us have it since she is buying it. So im hoarding it til she comes to physically get it!

QOTW: I'm looking forward to sleeping on my tummy! Not to mention 12w away from work as a nurse. Some days I wanna pull my hair out! Not to mention september and october are some busy baby-having seasons I wont have to deal with at work!! IF still gets to me in L&D!

Hi everybody!  Here at 25w5d I'm just trying to enjoy the last week or two of my second tri (depending on who you ask).  Baby is active, and I'm still feeling good, though I'm definitely getting bigger!!  I passed my glucose test at 2 weeks, which is good, but apparently I'm still mildly anemic -- anyone else dealing with this?

What I'm looking forward to is just having and holding and cuddling my sweet little girl.  I've waited so long for that!!

Hi there I'm 21w1day today.  I've been experiencing really sharp pains on my lower back, possible sciatica?  I have my dr's appointment this afternoon and will ask about ways to remedy it.  My friends suggested a support belt, so I'm looking forward for other solutions.  They are sharp and over pretty quickly, but they HURT!  Maybe a prenatal chiropractor could help. We toured a daycare last week and called my insurance company to estimate labor and delivery costs.  Delighted to hear it is all covered, not even a co-pay for the hospitals stays or anything!  And they cover breast pumps too! 

We are going to a wedding in two weeks and thankfully the new dress I bought fits perfectly and looks super cute. 

QOTW:  I'm really looking forward to meeting the little guy and just teaching him and watching him interact with my husband.  I think it will be so cute.  Non baby related after he's born, I cannot wait to hit the ice again and figure skate!  Adult national's is this week and I'm feeling a little bummed, but my goal is to be there next year!

Hi everyone! So exciting that another week has passed! The babies are moving like crazy and it's such an awesome reassuring feeling especially since I have to wait 4 weeks in between appointments. Everything else is going good, I think. I've been trying to stay sane about the little things. Although one thing that is extremely painful is this pain where my inner leg meets my hip. It's only my left leg and it absolutely kills no matter what I'm doing. When I brought it up to my doctor a few weeks back she blamed it on growing pains. But it doesn't go away. Hopefully my new OB will have a better answer for me.

I've also been having the weirdest pregnancy dreams about giving birth. Last night I had a dream that I gave birth way too early and DH had to put the babies back in there.  So odd!!

So happy to see everything is going great for everyone!

Add me! Add me!! LOL I'm 14w5d! I feel like it's all going by so quickly!! My belly popped early on and it is the strangest thing having a big, round belly!! I had a scare about a week and a half ago where the heartbeat couldn't get picked up on the Doppler at my OB appt. We did an u/s to check in on baby, and it was perfectly fine, wiggling and jiggling all over the place They even checked for sex and got a good view!! I didn't find out because my sister is throwing a reveal party for us....I do have another OB appt in 2 weeks and the tech said she'll do an other scan to confirm the sex and get a better pic I can't wait to know (but am so proud of our self control in not looking!) QOTW: of course seeing LO and becoming a parent, but I would love a big glass of wine (and TMI, I can't see my hooha right now, so I'd love to see that again!! Lol)

I would LOVE to be added! I am 14 weeks today!!!! I am having twins, and my due date is October 10th. This was our first FET after two IVFs and we are so excited that it worked. My cervix seems to be only mildly cooperating, so we have follow ups on Tuesday and then in two weeks. Hoping to catch any problems early there..

I haven't even really let myself think about the babies being here yet..

seems like i havent been on here in ages! 19w3d today, and i am counting down the days until my a/s on monday!!!! been feeling ok, the back pain is still there and some days are better than others. 

not much else to update, except moving into a new house + nesting mode DONT MIX. its been 6 days since we moved in and I still feel like the house is a cluttered mess! my brain wants to keep organizing and cleaning all day, but my body quickly puts a stop to that lol. its the best feeling in the world though to finally have my own home, so its all worth it in the end.

QOTW: holding my babies, getting my energy back...one day,

Count me in this week! 14 weeks today, due October 10. We get to see an MFM at our apt next week, so I'm interested to see what she has to say to us. QOTW: I ride horses for my job and have been on the ground since January. I can't wait to get back on! And seeing who these little monsters look like!

I am 14 weeks today with a EDD of October 11th. Nothing really coming up for about two more weeks when I go back to the OB. All in all just so excited to finally be in the 2nd trimester...the first one was not so fun blah!

QOTW: Me and DH are big travelers and he has family all over Europe so we are so excited to travel with our little bean! Although I know it will be stressful until we get the hang of it. Also looking forward to coffee!! and I have been craving a big ole' italian sub! so that will be great when I can eat anything again ( i like food haha)

Hello!  

I am 14 weeks and 5 days today!  Our EDD is October 7th.  I was told by my dr. that she wouldn't let me go past 28 weeks which would be September 23rd.  So....Still very tired most days but doing well.  I have had leg cramps each morning and am trying to make sure I stretch well and drink more calcium.  

Our Verify blood test came back as negative for chromosomal abnormalities.  We also had an ultrasound that came back negative for those as well.  We are hopeful!  

My next ultrasound is set for 4/22/14 and I'm excited.  We are declining finding out the gender of the babies and are excited to know we'll be surprised in the Fall.  I'm not going to lie. We talked extensively and since I didn't want to find out, my DH agreed.   

 I was asked on Thursday of this past week and declined.  My dr. knows....BUT we don't.  LOL

QOTW: I think I'm looking forward to seeing who the babies look like and of course their gender!  We are also looking forward to holding them and having them with us for the holidays!  My favorite season is Fall, so this is just the best gift of all.....babies, time off from work...and autumn!

Sorry, I've been slacking a bit so here's a good check-in since it's been a while! I'll be 24 weeks tomorrow... so V-DAY!! :-D I wasn't exactly sure how excited to be about it, but I read up some more and I believe the survival rate jumps significantly to ~40-70% at this point. That just seems so amazing to me b/c I'm still in that phase where my bump looks kind of big one day and small the next. It's hard to believe my little man is big enough on those small days. 

So, we just bought our first item today - a car seat/stroller system - and I'm about to walk out to go secure nursery furniture. I'm a lil nervous that we're behind - but a lot of STMs on my BMB are saying not to worry. 

LO is kicking all the time and I can feel him easily from the outside. And we picked a first name - Luca (last name - M...) ! I'm really happy about it since we have Irish & Italian heritage (very Italian last name), it feels like the perfect combination. Still pondering on the middle name though. I just like talking to him by first name now.

Next appt is end of April - the 1hr glucose test.

Oh, & QOTW: Booze, definitely booze! lol He's coming just in time for college football season. We always have season tickets so I'm happy I won't be grumpy around all of our friends (like I will be all summer when they're sipping their Corona's and Margharitas!)

Hello! We're 27 weeks as of yesterday! Cant believe this is my last check in here. My glucose test went well as well as my blood tests. Dr said I passed with flying colors. I have one more ultrasound on the 24th.

Qotw: I'm just looking forward to this new person in our lives. I know it's gonna be a great experience. DH and I are looking forward to meeting her.
