Baltic Amber Teething Necklace

Has anyone used the Baltic Amber teething necklace? A family friend recommended it as our 9 month old is activley teething, with two bottoms both protruding. I don't know anything about them or anyone who has used it. I am a litle leary about the fact that it is a necklace, not that she wouldn't be supervised while using it, but still... Thoughts?

I've had one on DD since she started teething at 3 months, and it has been a huge help. She is now 6 months and has two bottom teeth broken through. She is less fussy and drooly when she wears it. You can wrap it around her ankle and put a sock on her if it makes you feel better.

DS has worn one since he was 3mo. I've definitely noticed a difference. He's just now cutting his first tooth at 7.5 months.

We got DS a bracelet that was too big at 3 months, so it's an anklet for now. He does drool less with it on. He has yet to cut a tooth, but it doesn't stop the teething discomfort that he has. We most definitely still have days where he screams as soon as he tries to drink from a bottle.
