Hello, newbie here! I have been lurking some of the boards here for a while and finally signed up with a screen name a few days ago. Here is some information about my husband and I…
I am not over 35, but my husband is. We have been TTC for 5 months now and I have been temping and charting for many many years now and we do not use OPKs at this time.
Husband has been taking meds for his thyroid since he was like 13 and recently had surgery
for parathyroid issues. He had bloodwork done for the surgery and the Dr said
his Testosterone levels were within the normal range. I did some research on my
own and 'normal range' is lumped together for all men regardless of age which sounds silly
as testosterone levels go down with age so it is dumb to lump it together! This is one of the websites I found:
https://www.mens-hormonal-health.com/normal-testosterone-levels-in-men.html
I am sure this is flame worthy but my husband didn't know what his testosterone level was other then the Dr. saying he was fine and he would not look it up. DH and I know one another’s passwords to pretty much everything so one night I logged in an looked it up. He is just under 500. He is not where he should be for his age.
Since I am not 35 or over but my husband is, am I on the right board? How long should we keep trying before we take the next steps and what would the next step/steps be?
Looking forward to getting to know everyone and best of luck to everyone for their BFP!!

Welcome!! I would not worry too much about the testosterone levels really. I think most RE will want you to try naturally for at least a year before consultation but it all depends on you.
Best wishes!!
