Yes, yes he is. As if there was any doubt, I'm officially no longer getting my AC on Thursday. We presented the paperwork he asked for to him today, he said it wasn't good enough and added a few more unreasonable demands. We have told him we will be going through the city in order to gain access, to which his response was, "No, I will never allow you on my property!"

Maybe this sounds terrible, but when we get our permit in 6 to 8 weeks and bring our contractors in to do the installation, I kind of hope that he does try to prevent us from doing the work. It would mean that, with a simple call to the police, he could be charged under the city bylaws and forced to allow us on his property. I think the whole street would like to see this man get a taste of his own medicine.

Nope, nothing. I understand if she was delivering a baby or something, sometimes that happens when the dr is on call and gets stuck. At that point the office staff will say something and reschedule if the dr is running too far behind. This time, nothing. When I asked 45 minutes after my appointment time the receptionist just said "oh I don't know. Ok I'll call her."

Well, you did say "HE HAS NO CLUE" so... you're right - that totally means that you are fine with people asking him stuff about the baby and you don't think he is an 'ignorant moron' in the slightest or that you "the mother"  are better than him in anyway at all. 

As for the relative - lots of new information here (close relative, doesn't include you etc), but that doesn't change the fact that this person is calling to get information on what to get you for a gift, and you are bitching about it. 

Shucks darn that they are buying off the un-updated registry.  I mean, they could be just buying you a blanket or something equally generic. But instead they are buying off an un-updated registry?!? I can totally see how this is by far the worst possible thing that could happen.

It was probably a good idea that it was taken down, though I'm sad for all of you who missed out on the good parts! The last couple of pages devolved into some crazy mob-action suggestions, like crashing her wedding, sending her hate mail, etc. It got a little out of hand at the end, particularly since the thread made it so easy to find BSC bride IRL.

I should feel bad about wanting to punch an elderly man in the face, but this whole situation makes me so mad for you.  I will be crossing my fingers that you get to call the police on him (and maybe alert your neighbors beforehand so they can watch too).
