Pain on left side

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and was having horrible pain on my left side tonight. It's still there but a little more towards my back now. I also had a tiny bit of pink when I went to the bathroom last time. Has anyone experienced this? Should I be concerned?

If you are concerned enough to ask us, I'd call it in. Better safe than sorry. It could be something as simple as more stretching or baby being in an odd position, but with pink as well I'd play it safe and call. Fingers crossed it's nothing.

Unfortunately my office doesn't have a call number. I would have to go to the ER. She is moving around a lot tonight which I like feeling so I know she is doing okay.

I had a bladder infection early in my pregnancy and the pain started in my side and then went into my back. My pain was on the right side though. Maybe call your dr and see what they suggest.

Does your hospital or ER have a 24-hr phone line?  Maybe call that and see what they suggest?

If you know this why are you asking a bunch of internet strangers then.

Left back/side cramping + pink spotting = get thyself to thee hospital.

Thanks everyone. The pain went away after about 2.5 hrs and there has been no more spotting. I've got a call into my dr to see what she says.

My dr said first sign of blood head to labor and delivery. Hang in there!!
