Hi, I'm mostly a lurker when I have time, lately not even that, but I really need some help today!!
We have been dealing with several issues lately, and just when I thought I resolved everything I just got a call from my mom (who watches DD) saying that 2 of her diapers today leaked. X(
The issues actually started with leaks...it's always right near her crotch, on one side of the diaper. Before I could even investigate and figure that out, DD got a rash that eventually turned into blisters. We did coconut oil constantly but couldn't get it to heal, so I gave in and put her in disposables with butt paste for a couple days which helped. While she was in disposables I washed all the diapers on hot 3 times, and then sunned them. Within 2 days of putting them back on, her rash started to come back. So we went back to disposables to clear it up, and this weekend I went to our local CD store for help. They recommended I strip with RLR which I did yesterday. I soaked all the diapers with RLR, then washed 3 more times on hot. And now today, 2 have leaked. We have mostly BG 4.0 & Freetimes, with a few Tots Bots, Alvas, and other randoms thrown in. Today it was a BG Freetime and a Tots Bots that leaked, one first thing this morning and one this afternoon.
What am I missing here?? Why am i STILL having leaks after all of this, does it sound like a fit issue? I thought the BGs might have been repelling, but since the tots bots leaked I'm not so sure because it's a completely different material. Anyone have any suggestions?? I am going crazy!!
