TTC after 35

hysterosalpingogram question

I have a Hysterosalpingogram scheduled tomorrow and the pamphlet says some patients can't drive after the procedure. Did anyone experience this? Wondering if I need to call my (retired) dad to take me. That will just lead to a bunch of unwanted questions.

So could you or did you drive after having this done?

Re: hysterosalpingogram question

  • My hsg was really awful because one of my tubes was blocked and the dr attempted to unblock it with the dye, which didn't work. I was able to ride a bicycle home afterward. Driving would be no problem. It was only painful in the moment for me.

Thank you, this was helpful. I took your advice and just drove myself. Feel fine, just discomfort and pain in the moment. I posted a update, I'm hopeful that this is our lucky month!!
