Britax B-Safe question

I know several of you have the Britax B-Safe carseat.  Do you have issues with the straps twisting?  I am constantly trying to un-twist them.  I don't even know how they get twisted in the first place.

My husband has had that happen several times and he doesn't get how it happens either. I haven't had the issue but he is usually the one to put lo in the seat.

YES!!! I don't know how it happens but it does!

yes!! and I don't understand how they get twisted!! I checked the back of the car seat where you can adjust the straps but it's always fine back there. it's frustrating because I only loosen them to take her out and tighten them when she's back in so I don't understand how they're always getting twisted.

This is dumb, but how do I untwist them?  I can't figure it out.  It's twisted on one side, at the bottom, near where LO's thigh would go.

it's a pain but I move the buckle (not the chest one, the other one by her thigh. it probably has a real name but I can't think of it) up and down over the twisted section of strap while "unfolding" the twisted part and folding it back the correct way. I learned the hard way to figure out which way it should go BEFORE trying to fold it back. I hope this makes some sort of sense to you!

I thought I fixed it, but I didn't. 

The strap can twist around through that thigh buckle?  I can't seem to twist it through there.  Of course this happens when I have to take LO to daycare for the first time tomorrow morning.

Ooh, I finally got it.  The strap did twist around through the thigh buckle like @rach521 described.

I'm thinking about the part of the strap that goes over her lower belly/thigh area and the buckle part slides up the strap to click into the middle section between her legs. it's a PITA but with a lot of folding, you can get that buckle up and over the twist. sometimes I pinch the twist together even tighter to make it smaller so the buckle can slide over it, then work on it and slide the buckle back down.

As much as the straps are a pain in the ass I would buy the car seat again if I had to. I think you made the right choice!
