We missed the first 15 minutes of the show because Xfinity crashed! !@#$!!!!!! We're recording the 11pm show, so that we can see what we missed. I thought this was a good episode, made me excited to see what happens this season.
I really liked tonight's episode! I have read the books, but I promise not to spoil anything for anyone. That said- I think you will all enjoy this season!
I fell asleep toward the end and woke up to the Hound killing people and asking my husband what was going on. Oops!
I kind of want Sansa to start to embrace her marriage to Tyrion. He's being very good to her and I hope she ends up coming around. He's one of the only decent people in her life right now!

Any other book readers?
Yes! Love the books!
Sansa seems so emo. I know all your family is dead and you're married to an imp, but come on girlfriend lol
DH read the books between last season and this one, so I have a feeling that is going to start to irritate me as we watch the show There were a few times when I had to tell him to chill out with this comment or that gasp or whatever.
@katekat8721- Ugh, I know. She is such a petulant character, I find it really annoying. I do not condone violence but that girl might need a slap. Too bad Ned can't set her straight- he would have been able to talk some sense into her.
Also- Tyrion is one of my favorite characters! And Arya. And Bran. And...wait, I have too many.
Holy fuck!!! I literally was yelling at the tv! I was not expecting that at all. Wow. Adios you little prick. I do have to say that the actor who played him was amazing.
Who do we think was behind it? What will happen next?
And poor, penis-less Theon Greyjoy, he looks awful!
I really don't think it's the grandmother - while they hate the Lannisters, she gains nothing with Joffrey's death. I think it's MUCH more likely that it's Marjorie herself (and that's still a long shot), Tyrion or Sansa have much more reason to poison him.
Finally that little prick is gone!!! I knew something was going to happen - he was being WAY too much of a douche to Tyrion! Can't wait til the next episode.
Ooooo, maybe it was the visiting prince who hates the lanasters?? The one who almost had the orgy in the whore house in the last episode?
This is who I thought it was. Although did you all notice the jester guy running up to Sansa, wonder if he knew about it... Guess that's a bit of a stretch

That was the guy she met in the garden who gave her a necklace. I think he was behind it .... Maybe hired by that other prince from the whore house

Ohhhh working together, I like it!
And I think they might be getting her out of King's Landing and possibly to High Garden. There's so many ways it could go now! Meanwhile, no one knows about the massive army that Dany is putting together! Although, I was kind of looking forward to her army raining on Joffrey's parade and killing him.
Sansa did grab the cup at one point.. But I'm leaning toward the pie poison since he was the only one who ate it! That was so satisfying I don't care who did it!
Finally so glad he is dead lol! I think it was Sansa and that guy that followed her in the woods previous episode! And it was the pie not wine I think. Can't wait til next Sunday lol
At first I was like "whaaa!? who LIKES Joffrey?" Then I realized it was tongue in cheek. I have been a real genius lately.
At the beginning I never thought I would feel sorry for Theon, but Reek is so, so pitiable. And Ramsey Snow (Bolton) is SO HORRIBLE. That first scene where they're chasing the girl!? Jesus, I couldn't even watch.
Maybe it was Brienne of Tarth? She swore to protect Sansa and she was up by the table... sneaky, sneaky...
Or maybe it was Petyr Baelish? He seemed to be crushing on Sansa and wanting to get her out of there last season and he wasn't around which makes me think maybe his lack of appearance means he was involved.
The fool had to be involved, but who was behind it? Maybe the Spider?? hmmmmmm I don't think it was Tyrion. That would be too straight forward. Or was that really the trick? AHHH
Re: Game of Thrones Night! ~potential spoilers~
I think Joffrey is going down this season. No one likes him.
The actor who plays the Hound made a video interview for People. I will have to find it and post it. He's really a cool guy

Overall, I liked it
And I couldn't be happier for him to be gone. Seriously.
ETA: Oh, and best kept secret for the books being out for so long! I'm just still in shock!

Wondering if it was the pie or the wine?

Did anyone else read the books? I will not spoil anything for anyone, just wondering!
