DD scared the shit out of me today

She pulled a chair up to the back of the couch and wanted to climb over. The first time, she went over feet first. The second time, she dove so fast head first. She landed straight down on her face and her feet went over her. Instead of flipping all the way over, she like bent in half backwards. I was sitting right there and carefully righted her. The scary part was when she kind of went limp just for a second and seemed a little stunned after. She was perfectly normal and running around not two minutes later, but it was one of the scariest things I've ever seen. An hour later, she still seems fine, but I'm still super freaked out.

That does sound scary. I can commiserate, when dd was about a year old she was drinking some of Dh's smoothie and I guess she got a brain freeze and her eyes kind of rolled and she went limp for about 15 secs. She was fine after that but holy shit were we scared.

I thought I broke my kid's leg today. He started spazzing out on the changing table and when I picked him up to right him his leg was stuck. He did that horrible cry where they don't breathe for-ever. Then he was fine a minute later. They are resilient!
