Missed Endometrin.. PIO in 2.5 hours

Hello all.. I was put on a dose of endometrin after I had cramping and spotting last week, along with my normal evening dose of PIO. I forgot my endometrin today and just remembered. My PIO shot is in 2.5 hours. Should I take both? I need some suggestions.. Unfortunately I need them quickly. Thanks in advance!

Is the endometrin a vag supp? If it is, I'd go ahead and take it now.

@twistsandturnsto2 yes it is. Do you think I should do my PIO at my normal time?

Yes, keep the PIO on the normal schedule, take the supp now and then just resume the normal schedule for that. I was always told to just take the med as soon as I remembered it(if I forgot a dose). The "extra" progesterone close together won't hurt anything!

Thanks @katekat8721. How big of a deal do you think this is? I am pretty worried. The only thing that is saving me is that she wanted me to do it as a precaution, and not as a result of tests.. Meaning she did not test my progesterone and realize it was low, she just said to start taking them.

Here's a story. I was just newly pregnant when we went away for my sister's engagement weekend which was 4 hours away. We had about 1 hour left till we were to get there and I realized I needed my PIO shot and to take my estrace. It was in this gross highway bathroom at 11pm that I realized I had forgotten my estrace (and actually whole purse lol) at home We were riding with my family and I ended up getting my PIO shot in the parking lot while crying and freaking out that I would be missing a pill! I ended up going the rest of the way to the hotel with them, slept over night, then got up at 4am with hubby and drove 4 hours home to get the damn pills then 4 hours back to go back to the party.

The next day I called the doc who told me the meds aren't start/stop, they build up in your system over time so forgetting a pill or taking a double pill here or there won't be an issue! It all worked out

I would do what twists suggested, take the PIO normal time, the supp now and then continue as normal tomorrow.
