Easter baskets

Probably going to need to get DS's Easter basket together in another week or so. What are you putting in your lo's baskets this year. I'm thinking some bubbles---debating sidewalk chalk, and of course likely a new book since he loves to read. But I am not sure what else.

I bought bubbles, sidewalk chalk and a few bath toys (foam letters/numbers that stick on the wall and a small basketball hoop that suctions to the wall).

I got him a stuffed rabbit.

We are going to let him eat a Peep. I am so excited for this.

Some cookies. A wooden train whistle. Tub stuff. Book. Swimsuit for the pool this summer. Other little things I forgot about already

I'm filling eggs with Annie's bunny crackers, blueberries and maybe some other small healthy snack. I'm also doing bubbles, a crayola color wonder, a new sippy cup and whatever else I find when I go shopping later this week.

I'm thinking a stuffed bunny, some oversized Easter eggs filled with toddler friendly snacks, and then some little gifts (bubbles, etc) for spring!

I got a ridiculously cute peter rabbit tote instead of a basket and some sippy cups, a Melissa and Doug toy, a bathing suit and I'll stick a few squeezy fruits in.

For ds I went overboard. He's getting frozen, a paint your own solar system thing, a lego movie notebook, a Greek mythology book, a colonial history book, scented pencils And of course I had to get him a tote too because his sister got one.

we are doing arts and craft things. color crayons, homemade (edible) fingerpaints, homemade playdough, sidewalk chalk, cookie cutters for the dough, a craft smock etc. in eggs we are doing snacks like annies bunny grahams, plum puffs, annies fruit snacks

I totally did something similar for DS last year, DD gets to collect eggs this year too, and putting crackers and other foods that are more of a treat for them are so worth it to elongate the time for giving them sweets. Although, this year DS is getting a little candy in his basket

I will also put a couple of books in their baskets, little toys like a light up bounce ball, a couple whistles, since it's getting nicer and we can use them outside! One of their grandma's (Babci) bought them some natural fruit leather with no added sugar too along with some little toys.

I bought an Easter Bunny touch & feel book, Toddler's First Crayons by Crayola, a small stuffed animal, and a small bag of Earths Best organic snack.

my sister is hiding some larger than normal plastic eggs for her to find....if i have time i might hide some at our house too...

for basket i'll probably just put some puffs, or teddy grahms, goldfish etc for her....and i picked up a color wonder set because she has started to show interest in markers and pens and such....also just got a set of seek and find type books that i'll give her too...maybe bubbles...she loves bath bubbles......

i'm planning on keeping it small bc i know my mom and my mil...

I love Easter! For his basket I have outdoor bubbles, some bath tub bubbles (we haven't used any yet), two new books, some new socks, a new bucket hat, a pair of sunglasses and a big chocolate bunny (DH will eat most of it) and I'll throw in a pear and an apple that day.

I am getting most of the same things bubbles, puzzles, books, and some candy. I did find these really cute yogurt covered raisins at target though that are all kinds of pastel colors. I am sticking boxes of those in there too instead of like jellybeans.

I got her a board book (thanks to Amazon points!), a big bubble wand, planning on getting some big eggs to put some Annie's bunny snacks in, and also planning to get her some window clings (she loves those), toddler markers and paper, and perhaps a small toy (probably a princess to go with one of her Disney Little People castles).

MIL is making a basket for DS and I know she'll get a kick out of it!  I'm not into Easter Baskets, although I love Easter, but to those thinking about putting bubble in your baskets, I have to recommend Fubbles, which has the best bubble wand we've tried.

DD loves Elmo more than anyone, so her basket contains Elmo stickers, a book about Spring featuring, you guessed it, Elmo, and some board books. I'm also doing a couple of Peeps and a little stuffed lamb.

We aren't religious but I do go to Mass on the biggies (Christmas, Easter) so I feel ok doing.

Oh! And I bought an egg dyeing kit!
