We usually give LO her cereal and some fruit around 7-8. The last two nights we have go home late (10:30pm) so she didn't have her cereal/fruit. Would you give it to her that late? When she would be going right to bed after. Bedtime is usually 9.
I wouldn't only because my LO's last bottle usually knocks him out so I wouldn't want to disrupt that. Since food is only for trying and not actual meals now I think it's fine to skip. We've shipped it a few times when it didn't fit in our schedule.

This. That late at night there's no reason to stimulate your baby any more than necessary.

This was my thought too. Mil thinks it helps her sleep longer and I shouldn't skip it. We skipped and she slept the same. Mil is wrong yet again
Everytime these cereal threads come up I keep thinking it's grown up cereal. Like Fruity Pebbles, Count Chocula, or Cocoa Puffs
I walked into daycare the other day, and they were prepping a bowl of Fruity Pebbles for one of the infants on the 12-18 mos. side of his room. I was all /:) DH & I are cereal junkies and even we skip that one -- it's just a bunch of colored sugar!
I love how, in the latest Lucie's List email, she talks about starting cereal. Her Ped told her to start rice cereal so she went to the store and got rice crispies. Gotta love mommy fails
