Ubv vs ubcruz vs britax bready vs britax bagile ...

I think we went to stores like 5 times already to try the strollers. I read and compare and read and compare and I'm more and more confused. I want bassinet. And I know that with be agile people are using britax bassinet but the stroller is not really designed for it. I need sth light weight so I can put it myself into SUV trunk ( I'm rather small person and not very strong one). Uppababy is a really nice stroller but it's pretty expensive and I don't want to spend around 1000 ( stroller plus car seat) and then in few months I'll need to buy sth light weight and les bulky. I really want to buy bsafe car seat by britax but then you cannot use it with uppababy strollers. Bready is even bigger than uppababy vista and cruz. Any suggestions ?

I have a b ready and a b agile and we used a b safe. I really don't like the b ready. It's not the easiest fold and it's very heavy. The b agile is super easy to fold and throw in the car one handed while holding baby. I can't speak to the upb strollers, but if we are lucky enough to have LO#2, I'm drooling over the City Select (double). Check that one out. It's purrrrty

Never used a bassinet but I got the bagile and had a chaperone car seat and loved it. It is lightweight, car seat easily snaps right in, but the seat is always there so you are never messing with moving seats in or out. I have a problem with my joints so really shouldn't be doing any heavy lifting and I can easily fold the stroller with one hand and throw it in the back of my car. I can also take it out extremely easily. Also I know people get the bigger strollers to use as a double eventually but now that I am expecting number 2 I had completely convinced myself I wanted the bready but my son refused to sit in the seat in back. So you never know what will work for your kid. The bagile is cheap enough and useful enough that you can always buy a second stroller when your needs change. And then you can go back to using the bagile when you just need a small stroller again. Just my two cents!

We have the b ready and chaperone. We've also got the city mini for lightweight with DS. He actually doesnt mind sitting in the b ready since it sits higher.

We plan to put LO in the infant seat and snap onto the bottom for a while then switching DS or LO to the lower seat.

If you want light weight then th b agile is the only one on your list that meets that need. You can use it for a newborn as long as you recline all the way. We also put in a snuzzler for our newborn for comfort and positioning.

I recall driving myself batty as well. I ended up with thr City Mini however could not justify the cost of their bassinet. In the beginning, we used LOs car sest on the stroller when out for walks & shopping. Worked for the most part duing the first 3 months. That stroller is very similar to ome of the Britax you listed. I am short as well & the City Mini is akward to get into SUV 2 handed & VERY difficult to do 1 handed. Partly due to how I can get the leverage to make it over the bumper. We ended up using a snap n go until LO plus carseat got too heavy for me. So now I am wearing her with most outtings (unless longer distances are required).

Just throwing out a few ideas you may not have heard of (wish they had been available/knew about them two years ago)...

Valco Baby TriMode EX takes a bassinet but is 23 pounds. Valco makes some REALLY light weight full stroller options... they just do not accept a bassinet as far as I know. Many do an almost full recline & will take carseat attachement if that is a feature you desire.

Baby Jogger VUE -out at end month with approx $200 price point, 17 lbs, reversible seat on an umbrella stroller frame, takes a soft pram (essentially bassinet that costs $70) www.babyjogger.com/product/soft-pram-vue/

Also there are other umbrella style strollers that are light weight & take carrycot or bassinet.

I have and love the b-agile with the b-safe carseat. It is super easy to fold and lift into the back of my suv. It weighs something like 16-19lbs. Bassinets seem like a waste of money based on how long you can use them, honestly.

If you don't like the B Ready, the City Select is even heavier and more cumbersome, so not sure what makes it drool worthy to you.

OP, it sounds like you want 2 different strollers. If you want a bassinet and the B Safe, the B Ready is a no brainer for you. And then get an umbrella. Or forget about the B Safe and get the Vue mentioned above.

We have the B Ready and we love it. Steers and pushes like a dream. Worked awesome as a snap and go with our Chaperone infant for the first 6 months or so. DD loves the seat now that she's older, and it will really be great for 2 under 2, which is what we will have in July! We can use it with a bassinet and second seat, as well. It's on the heavier side, but any stroller that does all of that is going to be heavier. I am petite and have no problems getting it in and out of my SUV.

@MrsLele‌ I find that our b ready does not push well. It's very awkward and even with only one baby, it requires two hands all the time When comparing our b ready with the new CS, the CS pushed soooo much easier. I also love that the CS has two full seats and not a rumble seat. The CS has more desirable (for my preference) seating options.

I have the Cruz. If you are looking for lightweight, uppababy is not for you! I love it, but it's a definitely on the heavy side. But it is fabulous - I wanted something that felt sturdy and solid and this fit the bill. I wasn't interested in the bassinet so the vista wasn't appealing to me. It was also important to me that the seat flipped so my baby could face me. The b agile doesn't do that.

I have the UBV and my sisters both have the B Ready.  I hate the B Ready.  It is similar to the Vista in some ways, but much more difficult to push, feels heavier, more awkward and bulky.  It depends on what you need from your stroller.  I went UBV because we live in the city and I take it over curbs, snow and cobblestones all the time.  For these purposes I love this stroller.  If I didn't need that I would have gone with a different stroller.  In fact, I am just buying a Mountain Buggy Nano for more indoor/travel use (this is pretty new out and you may not have seen it around.  Very light weight and can take almost any car seat... maybe worth looking at).  I have lugged the UBV in and out of cab trunks, and up to our 2nd floor apartment for the last 7 months.  It is worth it if you need the mega wheels, etc.... but if you don't... I probably wouldn't do it.  If you will be mostly indoors or on nicer sidewalks I would probably not go with UBV. 

Also with respect to the basinet.. think about whether you will really use it.  It seemed great to me at first, but we used it probably twice.  If we were going anywhere in the car using the car seat was much more convenient.  So the only time we used the bassinet was when we were just walking out the front door.  Even then on our bumpy sidewalks I prefered to have him strapped in and cozy in the car seat.

I have the UBV.

The bassinet is pretty much new. It was barely used. I never used it alone and when DD was tiny she hated being flat in it.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of this stroller. I had to have it and it is an extremely well constructed great stroller but it doesn't suit my needs. It's a bigger, heavier, and bulky stroller in my opinion. I did use it a ton when she was small and we put the adapter on to attach the infant seat. Once she got a little bigger, it was just a lot to lug in and out of my car. i found myself wearing her more often just so I wouldn't have the debacle of getting the UBV out of the car and set up.

 We bought the UB Gluxe when she was maybe 7 months old and we use that over the UBV 9 out of 10 times. Its just so much easier to take out and pop open.

Can't comment on the other strollers since we don't have them. I'm due with #2 in 8 weeks and we're debating what to do. The rumble seat doesn't get glowing reviews and I can't see DD#1 sitting facing the back of an infant seat. We might sell/consign the UBV and get something else.

I have both the vista and the cruz. For the vista, my review is much the same as the previous poster. I also can't stand the fold. It is not intuitive to me, I have a hard time with it. From my perspective, this stroller is great for the city but not so much for a suburban lifestyle where you are in and out of the car. My nanny loves it for walks around the neighborhood with DD, though. DD did not like the G luxe. We didn't buy it because she cried hysterically in it. I think she is still too young for an umbrella. She is 10 months, but I don't think it was substantial enough for her. I desperately needed something easy to fold and mobile. I narrowed it down to the bugaboo bee, the city mini and the cruz. The bee seemed too small, it seemed like she'd outgrow it quickly and it was just too expensive for something that wasn't going to last long. The city mini was a great contender, but I didn't like how it could not be parent facing and the storage basket seemed skimpy compared to the vista. I was surprised that we liked the cruz so much. I use it all the time. The fold is a 100 percent easier than the vista which I can't figure out because they are both by UB. Good luck with your decision.

My DD did love the bassinet on the UBV. She slept in it for about the first 3 months of life, until she moved over to the crib. She was a preemie, though, so smaller than most kids at birth. The cruz has a bassinet option, but I have not used this.

If you want a bassinet, get a full featured stroller that has one and then get a lightweight car stroller separately.  1 stroller rarely does everything well.  If you do want something all purpose, maybe the Baby Jogger Versa.  You can get the B-Safe and the adapters and use the car seat with the stroller. You could also get the Britax bassinet (intended for the B-Ready) and connect it to the Versa on the car seat adapters.  The connection is the same for the car seat or bassinet.  It's also more affordable that some other options out there and even though the Versa is heavier, it's pretty easy to handle.  I have the GT wheels on mine also which are great for walks and rough terrain.
