Ugh I might just be a little nuts

So since my last beta (Monday) I've been freaking out a little (feelings of this is all a dream and not real kinda stuff) and I'm thinking I need to be POAS daily until at least me U/S in 13 days!

I know it sounds crazy but I'm super scared that I'm going to go in and they will be like "oh no sorry there's nothing in there"....

I was a little nuts too and had the same fears! My only advice is to try and keep busy until the u/s and take one day at a time. It's hard though- sorry!!!

put the pee sticks down!! lol they are not meant to tell you how pregnant you are, just that your are pregnant. extra fluids, time of day, different factors can give you different results to drive you nuts. Today you are pregnant and thats amazing but pregnancy is a 9 month journey that is really hard to get through so finding coping skills early is better than holding on to the anxiety. Have faith and positivity and when you get to 12 weeks then you can buy a fetal doppler to stay sane if it helps lol but for now it really just takes patience.

I understand. My last beta was the 22nd and my u/s isn't until the 11th! I am trying to stay as busy as possible

I'm right there in the crazy department with you! My u/s isn't for another week at 7w1d. Like someone else said, trying to stay busy is the only thing that keeps my mind from wandering into crazy land. This wait is the worst!

LOL. If you are nuts then so am I because I felt the exact same way. I actually took a couple pregnancy tests even after my high betas (one only a couple days before my ultrasound) to make sure it was still positive. Of course, that was illlogical because I would've still had enough HCG in my system no matter what to have a postitive test, but it made me feel better.

I just keep wondering, when does the crazy stop?

I can tell you that after months and months of peeing on sticks from OPKs to HPTs, it was so hard to stop that addiction. When finishing my betas I poas everyday trying to determine of they are getting darker. Then between the betas and the u/s managed to make myself do one a week. Even after the u/s I had the urge. But the thing is that pregnancy is a binary state. You either are or are not. There is no I am more pregnant today than yesterday. 

I had to just adopt the "today I am pregnant" mantra. I had to stop worrying about would could happen tomorrow and celebrate each day one at a time. I still have to do it today! I can now feel the baby, but I can't worry about what could happen between now and August, I just have to enjoy each day of this pregnancy. 

So put the sticks down. Everyone here knows that it is an awful wait, but every time you have a doubt just smile and remind yourself that today you are pregnant.

OP I am right there with you. I have 6 days till ultrasound.

You're seriously not nuts, I actually did that lol.  I even did it after my first u/s because I had a SCH, so until I saw baby a second time after that I insisted on POAS.  I just recently threw them all away...so gross! hahaha

It is totally normal to feel crazy. I was! I had nightmares, etc. Total anxiety. But you ARE pregnant!!!!!

I definitely POAS multiple times until my ultrasound. Not crazy at all.

Wait, what? At some point I am going to throw them away?!? I still have all of mine under the sink. They are labeled with the dpo and time of test. It will be interesting the day DH finds that stash.

I am with you completely. I took hpt every Wednesday until my u/s. And even went looking for the weeks estimator ones, but could not find them. I think that is normal. I agree with prior posts that the wait between beta and u/s is worse than the 2ww. Good luck and try and find something to distract you.

You are not crazy. But i stronly advise against POAS everyday. I did this and began to drive myself nuts analyzing their color ir lack of. At one pt it got lighter and i spotted a little and was sure it was over...sure enough next day we got a hb. Hang in there I know its tough!
