Success after IF

6.8 Lining before FET?

Hi Ladies! Question for you. I had my second lining check today, first check was 4 days ago I was at 6.6mm, today I only increased to 6.8mm.  My doctor confirmed that I will probably not increase much more than that. He said everyone is different and that my lining looks good and ready so they have told me to remain on 2 Estrace tablets 3X's daily until Monday.  Monday I will start doxycycline, Estrace 2 pills 2X daily, Medrol and PIO.  Our Transfer is scheduled for Saturday April 12th.... EEEEEK This is our first IVF and it's a double embryo FET. I'm just nervous about the lining number. I know they wanted it to be higher than a 7.  Anyone have any success stories and had a lower lining like me? Any suggestions on how to increase my lining? I've read about pomegranate juice so I'm drinking that now.

Thanks for any advice!

Re: 6.8 Lining before FET?

  • My RE has always preferred 8 or higher. Mine was a little low at my first u/s this time so they had me wait another week and put me on estrogen patches in addition to estrace pills. My next u/s showed an increase in lining to 12. Good luck with your transfer!
