sore armpits?

Okay, so I've had really sore armpits this past week.  I've never heard of this as a pregnancy symptom.  Anyone else out there have this?  If so, how did you get relief?

I get this from time to time but only on the right side.   I just suck it up and deal because I'm not really sure what you can do about it and my pain doesn't last.  I also have super dark skin under that armpit now in the creases of my skin, it's lovely.  Maybe try using baby powder or arm & hammer instead of deodorant.  If it doesn't get better ask your OB/MW or dermatologist if there's anything you can do to get relief.

You have breast tissue that runs up into your arm pits. It could be that.

It's breast tissue It extends back into your armpit, some more so than others. So it's pretty much the same thing as sore boobs, not much you can really do!

Are you fighting a cold or anything like that? For some reason, when I am getting sick sometimes, the lymph nodes in my armpits enlarge and hurt like crazy. You might also just have a clogged pore, but either way I hope it stops ASAP!

Mine are itchy to the point of pain - this happens sometimes in my normal (non-pg) life and it's eczema.  Normally I can treat it with prescription eczema cream and/or hydrocortisone, but both of those are Class C and not recommended for pregnancy.  So I itch like mad, and occasionally use a light facial moisturizer or baby powder.  Nothing has really helped, unfortunately.  But I empathize, if that's any consolation!
