5W2D, brown spotting/discharge

Hey all!

I need advice before I go crazy, I'm at 5w2d and this morning I woke up to brown discharge in my underwear and on toilet paper (enough that I'm wearing a liner today). I noticed this after POAS. According to Clear Blue w/ weeks estimator I'm progressing as normal (3+) and the cheapo one had the darkest positive line I've had yet.

We haven't had sex (feeling too awful) so it's not that and I'm cramping slightly but I have been since day 1 of implantation (round ligament stretching or whatever).

I'm planning on calling my doctor but that won't be for hours as I'll be teaching for the next 3.5 hours. Anyone else have these symptoms? Advice?

Spotting can be normal. I haven't had any discharge but when doing my progesterone supps I've noticed brownish stuff on the applicator a couple of times. I know it's hard not to freak out though.

Thank you so much for the support ladies.  I'm waiting for a call back from the doctor on call.  Unfortunately with teaching I don't have time to wait by the phone so between classes I'm running out to check my voicemail

i had a little with DS.  the way it was explained to me is that your uterus is all crumpled up on itself when you're not pregnant, and as it starts to grow with pregnancy some of those wrinkles/crevices are opened up/smoothed out and trace amounts of old blood that was trapped in there can come out.

FYI - Doctor finally got back to me.  She's sending me for bloodwork for progesterone levels and other stuff, FX!  Now it just sucks that I have to wait the weekend to find out levels/what's going on.  Based on my levels they'll then do an U/S.  So freaking anxious!
