Ethan or Carson?

I have loved the name Ethan for many years and was sure this would be my baby's name one day. However, DH and I also like Carson because it's kind of a mix of our names (and our fav Downton Abbey character). We like both equally. My parents like Ethan better but we are having such a hard time choosing. The middle name will be Robert after DH father and our last name ends in an r.

I like Carson better aesthetically but they are both getting too popular for my taste so I couldn't use either.
