Made in USA?

So I just got my order of Nickis pockets. My DH is really against anything made in China and specifically asked me to find made in USA diapers, which I swore I did! I just opened them and right on the tag says made in China! When I look back at the site it does not say made in USA anywhere...but when I google it, I see that their description for the pockets used to say made in the USA. Am I losing my mind?! Does anyone know if they recently changed where their pockets are made?

DH is going to kill me! I'm tempted to cut the tags off all these so I don't have to listen to the whining

Most if not all of my stash is USA or at least not Chinese made. Some China brands aren't bad. RaR makes some dipes in China as well as a few other major brands. I use mostly BG, Blueberry, Twinkie Tush, and Thirsties. These are all made in USA or at least not in China. It can be frustrating sometimes since just about everything these days comes from china.

It is frustrating! After our baby shower DH almost lost it going through everything and realizing most baby items are made in China! We have BGs which are US made but they're so expensive. I thought I found a cheaper US pocket, but apparently not

They are made in China. I thought they were made in the US too though I don't know where I got that idea.

You should be able to return the diapers.

US-made diapers will probably not be able to compete with Chinese-made on the basis of price. But you get great quality, from companies that stand behind their products, and the peace of mind knowing that they comply with US labor standards, tax law, etc. I'm assuming that's why it's important to YH to buy USA-made?

That in addition to not knowing what chemicals that could have been used and the economy in general. We live in a small close community and try to do local as much as possible too.

The only affordable brands made in the USA are tiny tush, and organic caboose. I like both of them, specially the tiny tush fitted. The organic caboose I like the contour diaper, for a newborn.

@Sgriff1 when is your due date? I don't see a ticker.

Maybe you have time to look for a used NB stash? You might be able to save some money and look for the brands that PPs have mentioned. Another diaper to look at for NB is Kissaluvs size 0. They source their fabrics in the US, but I'm unclear where they do their manufacturing.

That is really frustrating. It is hard to find things that aren't made in China these days.

We use BGs (which I believe are US made) and Apple Cheeks, which are made in Canada. They are both great quality but cost $20 plus per diaper.

Our NB stash is all Rumparooz (US brand made in China), but my OS stash is all USA diapers; Best Bottom, Blueberry, and Twinkie Tush. I've also heard awesome things about Tots Bots, which are made in the UK. Edit: we also have Loveybums fitteds and wool- USA

I love my Thirsties and you can catch sales on them. I think I like them more than BumGenius. And their new Aplix rocks if you want a few of those....

I just want to add that even though Nicki's are made in china they are compliant and they donate a diaper for every diaper you purchase.

That being said, two of mine are defective and I'm incredibly disappointed

@freezorburn‌ Sorry, I'm mobile only so I don't think I can do a ticker. LO is two months now. She's in her OS diapers and we have RAR, Blueberry, Best Bottoms and BG...just disappointed with our Nickis. Look like I will just have to buy more Best Bottoms then <:-P
