NBR: Light it up blue!!!

I work with children who have autism, and today is autism awareness day. The city I live in, in Mass and the surrounding cities light up their blue emergency lights throughout the town. I absolutely love this gesture. I was just wondering if other cities around the country also light up their town/city blue.

Very cool. As far as I know we won't be doing that here.  

BUT My girlfriend works for Autism Speaks in Boston and my Amazon Smile supports them.

I work with student with autism as a special ed teacher and my younger sister also has autism. My family and school are definitely into supporting this cause and light it up blue. Spreading awareness and hopefully tolerance is always a good thing!

We light up our front and back porch, and we decorate the hell out of my car.

We have a blue light bulb that we use in our window. Several businesses on our area light up blue. We had a little lighting event at the town center last night also. My son LOVES it. He feels like he is more connected when there are events like this. Here is a pic from last nights festivities.
