Hi ladies!
Looks like you've had quite a few of these recently! I'm going to pile on, if that's ok.

I've been assured that although my LO is still an inside baby at the moment, it's still acceptable to join the Parenting party!
About me: I've been married almost 6 years to my soul mate, and after 4 years of unexplained infertility, we're expecting our first child, a boy, on May 5th. I also have two furbabies - Tucker, a 6 year old mini Aussie, and Lucy, a 4 year old mutt who looks an awful lot like an Ewok.
As for all the normal questions:
Soft pants: yes, please. TBH, I hadn't really experienced the wonderfulness that is soft pants until I got pregnant. Now I'm pretty sure I don't ever want to wear real pants again.
Beets: Meh. I can eat them roasted maybe once a year.
Cilantro: YUM. Especially in Chipotle rice.
Shopping carts: ALWAYS put it back. Seriously. It's not that hard. If we can't band together as human beings to keep our parking lots clear of shopping carts, how are we supposed to survive the zombie apocalypse?!
Benedict Cumberbatch: Again, YUM. Great as Sherlock, and also as Khan in the newest Star Trek movie. Mostly I'm a huge nerd, so I have lots of nerdy character crushes. The most notable are Sherlock, the Tenth Doctor, and Sam from Supernatural.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
Anyway welcome. I am new too and I love beets.
