Recommend your baby swing

Hi all,

So turns out my baby LOVES rocking and although I love rocking her, my arms are about to fall off. So I'm looking into infant swings and wanted your recommendations. What one do you have? Do you love it or hate it? Anything else I should know ?

I have the snugabunny swing. It's great... It's electric so no batteries to replace. But it's huge, so if you plan on moving it around then maybe it's not a great option.

We got the Mamaroo and returned it....Camden HATED it! We actually returned our first one because it was jolting everytime it went up and we thought that's why he hated it. Nope! The second one we got was fine and he cried everytime he was in it.

We ended up getting the SnuggaPuppy swing and he's currently passed out in it!!!! He lovessss it!

ETA - I love that the snuggapuppy has the moving mobile above it!! Cam is mesmerized by it!

We have this swing (pic below, sorry it's not the best pic..) which I believe is a Graco. I'm telling you this because I do NOT like it and recommend getting a different one.

We have the fisher price rain forest space saver swing and I love it! It is so tiny, it's amazing! Oh and she likes it too

We have the Graco Glider LX Gliding Swing. LO loves it & I do too. It has 2 reclining options so he can lay pretty flat which is perfect for naps. It also has 6 gliding speeds, vibration options, white noise or music, & a mobile. It's battery operated or can be plugged in.

We have the Fisher Price My Little Lamb (similar to the Snugapuppy) and she sleeps in it all the time.

The Graco duet soothe is working out great for us!  The seat is removable - so it's a boucer too. It plays songs and nature noises, plugs in or operates on batteries, and has multiple swinging features.

Even in the farthest reclining position, I wish it laid back further. I feel like LO always slides down and ends up scrunched up and super uncomfortable. It probably bothers me more than it bothers LO.

We have the bright starts hybridrive.. I like that it rocks sideways and front to back, but I don't like that the mobile doesn't move, it's very big and hard to move, and the music changes songs after 10 seconds. He doesn't mind all those things tho so I guess it works

I have this swing as well. Got it off Craigslist for $30. You can take everything off and wash it. If you can find one second hand, do it. They're so durable so you'll get good use out of it and probably be able to sell it for the same price you bought it for.

We were handed down a brand new mama too because my SIL said her LO hated it so they got something like @CactusGirl‌ has.

We were lucky that Fallyn likes the mama roo. They did just come out with another mama roo product that swings instead if side to side so it might be worth checking out (and it's less $$ than mama roo)

We have 2 swings! We have the snugabunny and this Fisher Price Starlight swing.  We just got the starlight one so we could have a 2nd one since they both like the swings.  We were stoked the starlight one is on sale for $120 right now and you get a $20 WalMart gift card!  There's also this monkey one, which is also starlight - but we wanted the play tray for future use.

They love both - the lights from the starlight one seems the be very interesting to them   Also, they both run on batteries or plug in.

HONESTLY their favorite is an old crank swing - it clicks and they both absolutely LOVE it.  BUT you have to crank it like every 5 minutes.  Not happening!

This is what we have as well, but the Brompton style. LO loves it, at first I didn't think we would use any speed above 2, but he loves to be rocked harder and falls asleep on speed 4 or 5! It is nice that you can take the seat off and it is a vibrating bouncy seat that can go wherever you go. Also, it is plugged in and this is so nice, because we would have used lots of $ on batteries already!!

We have this, and I cannot recommend it enough. DH thought I was crazy for wanting a $175 swing. But if she's not in our arms, she's in this. She naps in it during the day. The seat comes off and becomes a bouncer, and she sleeps in that at night next to our bed. She's been in all the rooms in it while I'm doing stuff. Best money I ever spent.

It can rock back and forth or swing facing either way. We have it in front of our bay window, and she loves swinging and looking out the window.
