This one was planned. We took out my paragard and got pregnant on my next full cycle. It was a bit of a surprise how fast it was since our last one took 2 years and a round of clomid to get pregnant.
Surprise, I got off my bc since it was making me sick and we have been talking about when we wanted to start trying. Figure 6 or so months of protection and we would come beck to it, pregnant by my second cycle. Turns out neither of us are that big of fans of protection lol
Planned, we tried for 2 years, with a loss at 5 weeks in October. We had began working with a IF clinic in January. January we had a monitored cycle with no meds and conceived. We are over the moon excited, and feel like God's timing is such a blessing.
Planned. We had decided that when we got married (actually a week before our wedding for good measure) we would stop preventing and he was determined to knock me up. So here I am. The worst question is "Did you guys get married because she's pregnant?!" from SIL and BIL. I don't mind the "Were you trying?" question as much because then I can totally weird them out with details of how exactly we were trying.
My first was a surprise but a very good one, even though it took a long time for me to adjust.
Planned. Our was also on the first cycle and I'm excited and feel bad at the same time. My sister in law and her husband have been trying for 2 1/2 yrs and they're now going through in vetro. We have actually talked to them about how they'd feel if we got pregnant before them and they said they be excited and not to hold off on their account! We get to tell them and the whole family tomorrow! We hope they get pregnant soon so we can go through it together.
Not trying, not preventing. So definitely not a surprise, but it wasn't as planned as the first one. No ovulation tracking etc. I figured it would take a lot longer so I guess I was surprised that it happened quicker than expected.
I kind of had a similar thing happen. I went off BC at the end of January and then my husband left for work training on Feb 23rd. Somewhere in there I got pregnant! We thought it would take months, but bam!

We were trying for 2.5 years, so planned... Although MY plan was to have conceived oh about 2 years earlier.
So when it finally happened it was a surprise, a very pleasant surprise.
