I've been lurking for a few days and commented on a few threads, I thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm Alicia, 32, wife & working mom to a 2 year old.  DH and I plan to start trying for baby #2 at the end of the summer, but it may be happening sooner (we weren't very careful this month).  I'm late (AF due yesterday) but got a BFN this morning.  Same thing happened w/ DD, I didn't get a BFP on a HPT until after the blood test (I tested in between betas). 

So we'll see... either way I've got babies on the brain!  If I'm not pg this month, at least I know I'm very ready!

Thanks, I was wondering how to change it.  It's been my name since I was getting married, it's not even my last name any more!

Hello there! I just wanted to add that with my DD, I didn't get a positive HPT until I was 6 weeks pregnant, so I feel ya, lol.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone! 

AF made her appearance (that b!tch was 2 days late!) this morning.  I'm a little disappointed, but I'm happy to know that I'm ready and now I have time to prepare.  I'm about 10 lbs overweight and I'd like to lose them before getting pg (I don't want to go into it with my pants already feeling too tight, which they do now!)

It's also got DH thinking about it.  When I told him I was late last night, he started talking about improvements that need to be made around the house to prepare.  Baby or not, we need a new porch!
