Washington Babies

I didn't even cry!

I'm so proud of myself and DD. I dropped her off at daycare this morning for the first time ever. She was really good and I didn't even cry :)

I can't wait to go and get her though! Next week I am sure will be harder.

  • Good job.  They always say that it's harder on the mom than the baby.  I bet she did great and was having a blast playing in a new place.

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
  • Aww- very nice.  I spent a decade working in the child care industry; day care centers and nannying.  It can be a very hard moment for parents.  I'm so glad it went easily and she was happy when you dropped her off.  That says a lot for the classroom and teachers, too. :-)  If you do fall apart one morning, it's no biggie.  (Try not to do it in front of her, though.)  We used to invite parents to watch the classroom on a video monitor by the front door, so they could see their kids were doing ok.

    Continued happy vibes to you!
