  • I am actually working out. I didn't even lift a finger when I was pregnant with DS1 and I really regretted it. I gained way too much weight, and it took forever for it come off. And no lie, I really "felt" the weight gain with him too - I was always sore, uncomfortable, and in pain, even after he was born from all the extra that I was carrying around. So this time I exercise at least 5 days a week (nothing too crazy) and I swear it has made a difference in how I feel physically. I am not near as sore and I don't feel the weight affecting me as much. Still gaining a ton, but it just feels different and not painful or heavy.

  • I didn't work out with DD and this time around I want to.  I started eating healthier and working out a couple months before we found out we were pregnant so I got in a good routine.  Now, if only I weren't so tired in the evenings it'd be easier to go!

If the thought of doing it counts, yes I am working out.... But about the physical part...well, I pretty much fail in there, that's all I have, good will....

  • I work out about 4 times a week.  Not as much as pre-pregnancy, but I try my best! I am starting to get pretty uncomfortable, so my work outs look pretty geriatric at this point, but I am trying to make an effort to keep it up. I think it has helped keep my weight gain low. It is also good for my mental health, since I was on meds before this pregnancy and my last loss.

  • SS - before I got pregnant I would run a lot and my workout routine was pretty agressive.  I was too scared to keep going with that regimen so I only go to a prenatal yoga class now once a week.  I absolutely love it and love that it's tailored to the needs of our pregnant bodies.

  • I exercise religiously when I'm not pregnant, but this pregnancy is kicking my butt!  I am SO exhausted and nauseous 24/7.  It takes all of the energy I have just to sit at my desk at work for 9 hours, so the last thing I can imagine doing when I get home is to work out!  Ugh.  The love handles are definitely forming...  and I eat super healthy!  LOL  I know I need to and I know I'd feel better...  but I just can't suck it up.  I keep telling myself I will once I feel better...  and I'm sticking to it!  :)

  • I stopped working out when ms hit. I try to go for a walk when I have good days, but they are few and far between right now. I'm hoping to get back into something even if it is only walking some and prenatal yoga once a week when I feel better.

  • I hit no but I will try to go for an hour walk if it's nice out. That means not much in the winter but I'm up to a couple times a week now!

This is me, but with tax season on top of pregnancy, this doesn't happen too often. In a couple of weeks, I hope I get in regular walks agin with the pups :)

All AL always welcome in my threads!

  • I haaaaaaaaaaaaaate exercise, so it's a no for me. I'm also afraid of physical activity somehow causing problems in my pregnancy, so I put myself on my own prescribed "bed rest" (ie, just plopping down in front of the TV when I get home from work)...at least until I'm out of first tri. Not that I ever exercised before I was pg though, haha. I'm naturally a thin person, so the lack of exercise doesn't worry me at the moment, but I know in general it's healthy to be more active. Maybe when it warms up I'll go for a walk once in awhile. But I live in Wisconsin so who knows when that will be. 8-|

Also, I have a question: I always see the "SS" option on all CPW threads but I have no idea what it means. Can someone please enlighten me?

  • Yep, I walk 2-3 miles every day with my dog and I go to Zumba twice a week. Same as pre-pregnancy.

I'll be adding a prenatal yoga video to the mix shortly.

  • I chose ss because aside from stretches and walking I'm not really working out, however I will be joining the Y soon to swim laps and do water aerobics, and use the gym a bit. Soon!
