Ok... this is going to sound BSC.

But the snappis we had when DD was younger were pale blue.  They were fabulous. 

I ordered some more, and didn't care what color, so got neon orange, and yellow in a pack.

They seem like they are made differently... different kind of plastic or something and don't work as well, even after I stretched them out.

I went to visit a friend the other day and she wanted me to show her how to use the prefolds with her newborn.  Her snappis were the same blue colour that I had originally had and they worked great.

Am I losing my mind?  Were the other set just a bad batch? Does the colour make a difference?

DH has been complaining about them since I got the new ones.  I don't have to do a big order...so I don't want to have to pay shipping for more.

I'm sure they are (or you would have mentioned it...), but are the new ones the same size as your old ones? 

It wouldn't surprise me if the color does make a difference (even though that sounds crazy). A lot of the additives that are required to make various colors can cause differences

They are the same size

It's like the plastic is different in them... it's not as stretchy or something.  Wondering if it just happened to be from a bad batch, or if anyone else noticed it too.

My friends are new... but the first ones I had for many months and they were pretty much the same the whole time.

The ones that are green, orange and yellow are newer... but I've still had them for several months.

Do you think the new ones just need to be stretched out a bit?  I seem to remember my snappis being much more stiff when I first got them, and with lots of use they really loosened up.  Maybe just take one of your new snappis and stretch it for a while manually to see if it gets better?

Already did it!  It didn't make a difference...

I'm thinking it's just a bad batch.

But I'm gonna order blue next time just to be sure!

This is good to know - I'm ordering some new snappis soon, and maybe I'll just avoid the neon ones, as fun as they look!

I have seen those bright colored ones and they just look like their plastic is different.  I don't think you're BSC because I know exactly what you mean.

idk about the neon but I just broke open a dark blue and it was the same as the light blue I have been using
