I don't mean to come off as ungrateful, but I am really hating Clomid, and the Metformin... between hot flashes, shittin my brains out, and everything in between I just am ready to O already so maybe the effects will subside. I have had some vision troubles today, it has been difficult to focus on whatever I look at, off and on and its driving me nuts!  Plus since I have been on the Met, I have had a headache every single day I am nervous when I up to twice a day in a week

I have been drinking so much water, I am pissing faster than a f'n racehorse.

I'm sorry you're having such a terrible cycle. I hated clomid. I'm surprised I didn't kill MH. Did you see my comment before about time release metformin? It was the only way I could tolerate it.

it hasn't really made me sick to my stomach, not nausea wise, but these damn headaches, I may have to ask her to change it...

It could be worse. Clomid sucks but you could be benched! Not trying to be mean. Just sayin'!

I've been there. Clomid/ metformin combo SUCKS! Clomid gave me migraines and rage. I begged my RE to give me a different drug because otherwise I would not be having a baby because I would be divorce. I'm very sorry but the name of the other drug escaped me at the moment...femara perhaps? Anyway, hope you feel better soon and who knows, maybe this will be the last cycle you have to do this. (at least that's what I tell myself every cycle to deal with side effects) Good luck!

Dude clomid fing sucks. I ripped my favorite dress in HALF in one of my "clomid induced rages".

OMG. Rage. I flipped my shit on DH Monday and he was like whoah wtf lol DD Has been pushing ny nerves today, not really with anything specificjust everything and my patients isn't there today lol. The headache wasn't so bad today, I paired it w my allegra and tylenol, so it was bearable.

I wish I could be going through IF med rage but I've been benched indefinitely and possibly forever. We are taking adoption classes so while I know the Clomid can make you feel like hell just try to remember that you are doing it for a reason and hopefully will have a baby as a result.

Im very sorry to hear that love! Adoption is wonderful too though! Even though I know it is not the same as actually "having" a baby, sooooo many sweet souls out there need someone who is going to genuinely love them! My heart is happy that you are actually taking the steps for this!

I know it could always be worse, I honestly am not even sure why I posted about it being so bad, I was in a mood...

I honestly think that we all have our own problems. Telling someone to be grateful they are able to even do meds is rude. Of course they are grateful... but doesnt make the ickiness that goes on during a cycle any less hard to deal with.

But the other side of the coin is complaining about meds that someone else would die to take and go through to have a kid or another one can come off rude and insensitive. She wasn't trying to be rude, she was shedding another light.

I got taken off Clomid and benched. I would love to be put back on it. That's not being rude, that's being real.


But, I can be rude....just sayin' because I'm PMSing like a mofo. Lurk, learn then post.....read the freaking rules. Now, that was rude!

WHOAH! I did not take it as her being rude one bit, we actually get along quite well on this board and @iloveshanej has been super helpful to me, I think if anyone should be calling her out for being rude, it should have been me, and I didn't... so that must mean I didn't take offense.

I haven't done clomid/metformin, but I have done femara/metformin and it sucked a lot!  My students thought I was BSC.  Hopefully it will work and you won't have to do it again.
