DD is nearing 13 months, she's built like an 18 month old (25lb, 30+in). I just made a 5 meter wrap out of 100% linen. It came out great but she is not used to being wrapped and when I get her on my back she squirms and it is hard to practice. I've tried twice and was not happy with the results. I wanted a wrap because I want to be able to put her in a higher back carry than in the ergo. Please recommend some instructional videos, maps or tips that you enjoyed.
FWIW she is used to being carried by now, just not staying still on my back while I work the wrap. I tried the superman fly and got the wrap all twisted up so I just stuck with the hip shuffle like I do for the ergo. I made a sling out of the rest of the linen and she LOVES it despite never being in a sling before.
