Cloth Diapering

Washing with Bert's Bees.

It finally happened. I went to start the rinse cycle on the diapers and saw a tube of Bert's Bees floating on top. I don't think they are ruined, the tube looks fine and most of the ingredients look CD safe. I was just worried about the peppermint oil being a little harsh if any got leached out. Does anyone have a CD cream with peppermint in it?

  • A tube of chapstick. Sorry I didn't make that more clear.

  • I agree with stringy, especially if the tube wasn't all melty.

  • Thanks! Yeah, it wasn't melty at all. I was surprised. Makes me wonder if I need to check the hot water heater. I'll put them back in rotation and see if DH wants the Burt's Bees back after it was washed with poopy diapers. I doubt he will.

Would you want to kiss him if he did?

Fair question. Although it's probably fine, it does carry a little ick factor.
  • It got washed right??? So it should be "clean".

  • I've ha Burt's bees make it into many washes. (Not diapers though). And I never had a melting issues unless it make its way to the dryer.
