uterus hard, 5 weeks pregnant

This is my 3rd pregnancy. my first resulted in a miscarriage at 13 weeks and my second I had pre term labor at 27 1/2 weeks, now with a very healthy 2 year old and i just found out that i am pregnant. but the weird thing is my uterus is hard and i can feel about 1 1/2 inches of it past my pubic bone, which i don't think happens? I'm gonna call my doctor tomorrow and ask but just would like to see if anyone has experienced or is experiencing this too. thanks everyone!

Well I would say that since you're not a doctor, you could be feeling something other than your ute.
At 5 weeks your uterus isn't anywhere near passing your pubic bone. Please call your doctor and leave the diagnosing up to them.

Thank you! I called them this morning and I'm still waiting for a phone call back. I can't think of anything else that could be down there behind my pelvic bone and continuing shortly above it.

Maybe you have a fibroid? I agree no way to know until you see the doctor.

Just an update guys I went to see the doctor yesterday and they told me it's my bladder. Since I drink so much water my bladder is always full. It feels just like my uterus did in my last pregnancy so I could've sworn thats what it was. So if anyone is ever wondering, it really is impossible to feel your uterus before 10-12 weeks
