My brother had us all terrified and in fits of laughter when he was giving me advice and acting out what to do during labour. Basically I need to close my eyes tight and put a shield between my eyes and nose because the doctor is going to put his hand really far into my stomach and grab the baby and pull it out. And I need to try not to scream.

I think this sounds like a decent explanation of a C-section.

Apparently Mom and Dad haven't given him any explanation of how babies get out of a person. So this is very possibly a mash-up of what he has seen, heard, and logic-ed about childbirth over his lifetime. Now my parents are deciding if they want to leave his understanding of it this way or clarify things.

Sending this to my Mom... not that she would use it, but LOL.

Omg. Hahahahaha I'm in tears over the 70's bush doll. It has a demonic/Michael Jackson thriller feel to it. And the baby fist pumping it's way out of the birth canal has me peeing my pants...
