do you listen to music while you clean?

No, not really. I always catch up on tv while I fold the laundry though.

Yes- I am most productive when DH and DS leave and I can turn on whatever music I want and just clean clean clean. Haven't had that opportunity in awhile!

I can't do anything when hubs is home. He "watches" dd but really just watches what I do over should asking why I am working in one thing instead if the other. Just get out of my way and let me do this! Be glad I'm doing anything at all- or if you think something is more important- you do it!!! "Why are you sweeping when you need to put your laundry away?" Because I'm the only person who sweeps in this house and if I left it it wouldn't get done- EVER. That's gross. My laundry will stay clean on my dresser, the floor just gets dirtier.
I digress. I like to have a show on- or movie I know. I never watch it but when it pass by TV or hear in background I'm keeping up and know what's going on.

DH isn't a problem- if we were ever just home alone together he would help and we could knock out the cleaning in like an hour, 2 on a really deep cleaning week. But DS is into EVERYTHING all the time and waits for us to get involved in something before he strikes. His current obsession is emptying containers- contact solution, soap of all kinds, and the current worst: toothpaste. Yesterday he took his tube of toothpaste, went up to a full-length mirror, and said "ah-ah-ah-choooo!" and squeezed the tube. I don't know WhereTF he picked that up, but he's wasted half a tube of tooth-paste, two bottles of dish soap, multiple squirts out of giant shampoo and conditioner bottles, a bottle and a half of contact solution, inestimable amounts of shaving cream and hand lotion, and so on and on until DH and I no longer have enough room on high shelves/in locked cupboards. We reserve those for the dangerous stuff- cleaning chemicals and medicine and vitamins stuff. Now I no longer have an organized anything- just a jumble of shit everywhere that is almost too high for me to reach.

Just depends when I get the opportunity to clean. During the day, I do listen to music... if it is at night, I usually catch up on whatever series I am currently on

I like watching TV while I clean, but since we don't really want to give DS our (aka my) terrible tv habits, I use "I Heart Radio" on my phone all the time. We aren't real music people, we have one decent radio in the house and it's in our bedroom. So, I run out the battery on my phone.

I also always keep the clean laundry downstairs so I can watch tv while I fold it. I pretty much told DH not to take it upstairs unfolded unless he plans to do it himself.
