Anyone else apart of the Facebook group - Car Seats for the Littles?

I've learned so much about car seat safety being in the group. If you're interested in keeping your little one as safe as possible, I'd recommend checking the group out!

I get that...I feel that way sometimes as well. But I keep their mantra in my head - when you know better, you do better. What I've learned far outweighs that feeling.

While my oldest is only a toddler, I can't be sure what we'll do at that point, it is usually safer to say in some kind restraint as long as possible.

I plan to rear-face my 2 yo DD until she reaches the rear-facing limits on our Graco MySize70...she could be 4 or 5 by then! After that, she'll be forward-facing harnessed until those limits. I'm betting my children will be in boosters until they reach the limits of those seats. Like pp said, restraining is always safer. (I teach a 9-year-old who's boostered still...she loves it because she feels safer.)

Some kids are big enough and can pass that 5 step test! I don't know many. It is a parental decision of course. The thing that I'm most afraid of is how many people turn their LOs around to forward facing based on the law.
