DD used to be an awesome eater... And then we hit two. Blah. She doesn't dislike foods, she just doesn't eat much. There have been way too many nights she wakes up and can't sleep because she's starving. I end up giving her a snack and she immediately passes back out. We've tried several things to get her to eat more dinner with no luck. I also don't want dinner time to become an attention battle, as I saw my SIL do for two straight years with my nephew.
Is it a phase, should I try something else? What is your LO's eating situation?

I think it is a phase. Nina has never been a fabulous eater but she used to be better than she is now. She will barely eat a vegetable now. I would say she has one meal a day where she eats a decent amount of food. The other meals she seems to just pick. We just offer her what we are eating and see how she does. We don't make meal time a battle she will eat if she is hungry.
