Woot another post! It's late so I'll probably check back tomorrow but was wondering when your LOs started using pillows and blankets to sleep like a human. B still uses a sleep sack because she rejects even the cuddliest of blankets draped over her. She also flips from head to foot of the crib and back like a rotisserie chicken. I haven't put a pillow in there because I worry she'll end up under it. Are there small pillows toddlers actually like? I'm in no rush to change our sitch because she sleeps great and still likes the crib. Am I the only one not tucking in a toddler at night?
Re: Pillows and blankets
So, no we don't tuck her in either.
A toddler bed seems a long way off for us though. Maybe that's a good thing.
Baby #2!
We are still using a sleep sac at bedtime. But no other blankets. Like others have mentioned, my DD moves around like crazy in her sleep - sometimes her head is at one and and sometimes its at the other end. I did put a lamaze owl and a little "taggie toy" in there when she was about a year ... but she pays absolutly no attention to them. They just sit in the corner.
We've got a bedtime routine down flat. And I'm in no hurry to convert her crib to a toddler bed!
@Becc77 - I had no idea that matresses had a baby versus a toddler side? Maybe its only some matresses. Wow, it seems like forever ago that I did my "matress research" for DD! LOL!

At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid. Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth. If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP. My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!
I must confess that I thought the crochet blanket was the ugliest old lady creation possible but it was the only one I felt comfortable giving to her and now I love it.
I think it's only certain mattresses that have the feature of infant on one side, toddler on the other. The only difference is that the toddler side is slightly softer. It's a Simmons Kids mattress, the only kind I could find that fit snugly in her crib.
