QOTW: How are you keeping active the last few weeks?

Re: ~*~*Sunday Ticker Change*~*~

  • Weeks/Fruit: 35 weeks-coconut!! 35 weeks & 35 days- a great milestone! QOTW: keeping active.... Hmmm? Well I have 3 other kids, teach full time & part time photography. I'd say I'm busy- but I definitely will be wishing I was able to get out and walk more. Now that it's getting nicer out, maybe I can get out!

AW/Rant/Rave:  I hosted a shower for my BFF yesterday and it came out great!  It was so fun to return the favor for her after the great shower she gave me last weekend.  I also finished all my thank you notes and had a great girl day with my running buddy(gym, breakfast, Spring Awakening, and dinner)

Rant- I woke up vomiting last night and had diarrhea for the 5th time in 2 weeks.  I am following up with my doctor about this tomorrow.

QOTW: How are you keeping active the last few weeks? I just stopped running 2 weeks ago when I finally felt too awkward for that motion anymore.  I am still going to the gym 3-4 days a week, but walking and getting on the elliptical or taking Body Pump with light weights.

AW/Rant/Rave: He's dropped and the pressure on my cervix when I'm standing for too long is insane. Things are getting down to the wire. I bought a box of nb diapers on Friday and I think it finally set in..

QOTW: How are you keeping active the last few weeks? We went to Disneyland Monday-Tuesday of this week and walked 16 miles over the two days...that resulted in me losing 2 pounds at my appt Friday. I went to a horse show yesterday and did a bit of hiking there...other than that, chasing my 2 year old and taking care of my horses is enough exercise for me!

  • Weeks/Fruit: 34 weeks, Butternut Squash

AW/Rant/Rave: Nothing I can think of to report this week!

I've been busy around the house getting things in order. Now that warmer weather is slowly moving in, I'm hoping to get out for some more walks with the dog.

It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
  • Weeks/Fruit: 35/coconut

AW/Rant/Rave: I'm just feeling tired all the time now. And achey. Baby seems to be edging lower every few days, so it shouldn't be long until she's officially "dropped". She's resting on my bladder a lot more now and I'm having to support my belly if I'm standing for a while. We did a tour of the L&D unit at the hospital on Sat and they provide private rooms for a fee, which my dad said he wants to pay (I'm a spoilt little princess - what can I say?). It's an NHS hospital, so you can stay on a 6 bed ward for free, but I value my privacy thanks! Also ordered the crib and changing table/dresser last night, to arrive when I go on mat leave. 2 more weeks!

QOTW: How are you keeping active the last few weeks? I'm not. Well, within reason. I've officially started nesting, as of this weekend so getting the house in order is enough for me right now. I find that if I do too much, my back starts to seize up so I have to be careful. Dusting the skirting boards yesterday nearly ruined me. I'm just trying to keep on going about my regular daily business as long as my body will let me. Getting off the sofa is a workout in itself nowadays.

    33/Durian Fruit....looks like a porcupine! Haha

    AW/Rant/Rave:
-I'm super pumped for my shower this weekend at home although I have to drive 2.5 hours to get there, by myself. That should be interesting!
-I have to go back to work/school this week after my spring break which I really a enjoyed. But this means I have 6 weeks left until my leave. This is exciting but also scary at the same time as I have SO much to do to get ready for my sub (and the baby of course but I'm not a worried about getting that stuff done).

    QOTW:
It's getting nice outside so I've actually been taking the dog on walks! And prenatal yoga.

Weeks/Fruit: 33/durian fruit (what the heck even is that??)

    AW/Rant/Rave:
AW: We finally hung our mobile & name letters in baby girl's corner last night. I say corner because she will be bunking with us while we are living with my in-law's. Here's a pic: image
Rant: Holy rib pain!! Yesterday i noticed my ribs were aching on my lower left side, and it's much worse now. I couldnt sleep on that side last night and it's hurting to take a deep breath/cough/sneeze/laugh. not fun! I'm also getting itchy all over, but no bumps so I'm thinking its just a hormonal thing. Also baby girl is still transverse/butt down and I just have this sinking feeling I will be scheduling a C-section at my next appt.

QOTW: How are you keeping active the last few weeks?
haha, that's funny. I'm keeping active by walking up and down the stairs in the house. In my defense it's been raining alllll week here so any outside activity has been limited!

    AW/Rant/Rave:
AW- Finally finished babies room. Hooray!

Rant- Braxton Hicks started this weekend. I had them with DS but they were only detected during non-stress tests. Freaked me out then that I was having constant contractions that I could not feel. Now that I am having some that I feel I am freaked out more! Don't want to end up on bed rest again no family nearby to help with my 3 year old. :(

QOTW: How are you keeping active the last few weeks?
I was still doing normal activities with my 3 year old but after all day on my feet Friday then 2 days of Braxton Hicks that were becoming consistent and painful I think I will lay low until my mom comes in a few weeks.

QOTW: How are you keeping active the last few weeks?
I don't drive- I walk to work which is a 15 min walk everyday. My puppy keeps me up and down by taking him out. This coming week I'll be active by cleaning. Our shower is Saturday and I want the house somewhat clean and organized for all the gifts.
