At 12 weeks, even if the genitals have started to develop, they haven't developed enough to tell boy/girl by a grainy, fuzzy ultrasound that early. You also haven't given us a between-the-legs shot so the only thing we're seeing is the fact that you have a fetus growing in your uterus. Congrats.

Uhh....look around. We are nice to newbs. We were all ourselves newbs once. See the difference between us and you @Monotonetwo is that we lurked, intro'd, and have become part of this community. Newbies are always welcome, including this OP.
What you don't seem to grasp...and what can come across as mean to new people that just waltz in here and judge us is that we (pardon the expression) keep it real. If someone has a genuine question, concern, or is in need of support we give it. If someone spouts nonsense and offensive things like you oh board hopper then we flame. And if someone comes in and asks us to do the impossible (like tell the sex of a 12 week u/s) they are going to get snark. Admittedly the snark has devolved into us regs just having fun with each other...with tacos and sloths...but seriously we've been dealing with drive bys for 5 or 6 weeks now. We're so over it.

Yes, I am due 9/2 and I'm 18 weeks TOMORROW. Soooooo....there's that whole math and 'facts' thing working against her. Even if she had the 20w early, they wouldn't have done it 2.5 weeks early.....that would make it a 17 or 18 week appt

I was new at one point... and no one said mean things to me. I posted, participated, and became part of the community here. Actually there are a lot of new people on here... they just know how to not be rude/abrasive/generally unpleasant.

Also, because of my previous c-section, I'll be repeating and they'll do it 1-2 weeks prior to my dd. That would be sometime late august. Do I need to spell out anything else in regards to my pregnancy? I love that you all think I wait to pounce on you for flaming newbs but really, you all can't wait to pounce on the newbs.
