I hope that's an allowable title!

So what positions are you finding are the best now that the bump is getting huge? DH and I are pretty bland and tend to stick to missionary, but it's starting to squish me. And I feel like if I'm on top, I am like a whale and will crush him.

Also do you plan to call it quits anytime soon? Or do you hope to continue all the way through?

And if anyone else has any questions or thoughts about the subject, please share!

When I was still pregnant I found spooning and doggie with a pillow under me were the most comfortable/enjoyable. Now I'm just trying to figure out how I am going to go 6 weeks without sex..

Doggie works good for us. Also having me lie on the edge of the bed and DH standing in front of me.

I can't even remember when the last time we had sex was.. Once I get pregnant our sex life usually disappears.. until about the last 3 weeks when I am trying to soften my cervix..DH is a great sport and never complains

I'm dying for sex, but te last time we tried the baby kept moving and it wigged H out. She's super strong and becomes pretty active on sex.

Doggy SHOULD work, but my vagina feels really short in pregnancy and any deep penetration leaves H painfully banging my cervix. I would live to be on top, but I run out of steam pretty quick. I'd be thrilled with oral and manual, but I have the one husband in the world who isn't really into receiving them and doesn't finish without penetration. Sex has become really awkward for us.

We do it all. Missionary, doggy style, and spooning are the most comfortable. Girl on top makes me feel self conscious so I leave that one alone.

Our sex life has been in a rut so I made a commitment to have sex every day for a week starting yeaterday to try to jump start it again. Sometimes when you go so long without it, you just get used to not doing it. So far doggie is best and I'm still ok with being on top.

I just can't seem to get into it. I've never had this problem and it's SO frustrating to me. I can't ignore the belly/ being pregnant and it wigs me out. I just want to get laid.

I agree w PP who said sit/lie edge of the bed (you may want to prop your back w pillows if it's hard to breathe), he stands.

Also sitting cross-legged (ish), legs wrapped around him works pretty well for us.

We're usually boring missionary people but switching it up is SUPER helpful for me.

poor DH we've only done it three times since I got pregnant. I have ZERO sex drive this pregnancy and DH doesn't understand cause I was a major horndog my first pregnancy and wanted it all the time. I feel bad. but when we do get down to business it's always either spooning with him coming from behind or me on the edge of the bed with him in front of me. those are the only two positions I can deal with if I can even make it that far

Me on top and doggy style are about it right now. We have sex once every 10 days or so. I actually have a decent sex drive but it is so awkward and uncomfortable to actually do it that I don't act on it much.

Ugh, I've had zero sex drive this pregnancy. I can count the number of times we've DTD since we found out I was pregnant on one hand and not even use up all the fingers... Poor DH. 

I'm jealous of all of you with raging sex drives.

Spooning and pillow under me doggy style are our top two. He can do missionary but he's gotta have the energy because he likes to be high off my belly when that happens.

Now a days, we do combinations of manual and oral on each other pretty daily and leave vaginal sex as a once a week sorta thing.

All positions work right now. We do need lube for doggie, and I wear lingerie if I'm on top, this way I don't feel fat

Thanks for all the ideas ladies. My sex drive is just starting to come back a bit and poor DH is dying without doing it more regularly (though it tends to be once a week if that).

We do both hope to try sex once I hit the 37 week mark but I'm not sure how comfortable it will be for me. I had first degree tears with DS1 and my Dr. actually advised us to wait the full 6 weeks, actually more since I still had 2 stitches hanging around at my 6 week checkup, sigh.

I had an issue with being really swollen and sex being uncomfortable. Turns out it was a yeast infection and took two treatments of monostat 7 to fix. Now it is much better but I still insist on plenty of lube.

Ask your Dr at your next appointment about it!

I was pretty shocked that missionary actually worked the other day. Until afterward when he kind of collapsed on top on me and I almost screamed "omg don't kill the baby!!" If LO stops wiggling long enough that I can forget he's jostling in between us. I've tried pretending it's just really bad gas, but that doesn't really make it less weird.

My sex drive has been down since the beginning of the pregnancy but I still do an effort for DH. At this stage the best positions for me are spooning and doggy, I can't lie on my back for too long without losing my breath so missionary is a no no and girl on top is too much effort right now lol.

We never do it.. Thanks to my drive being so low.. But every once and a while I give in and then find myself asking why I don't want it. It's great! His best chances are waking me at 2 am with a back rub and just sticking it in lol. Then I pick whatever position I want, usually missionary cause I know I will get off. He's just happy to get it in!

Haha that sounds like us! We did it missionary the other day and we both got really into it and immediately after DH was like "Is she okay? Did I hurt her? Is she still alive?" lol I assured him the baby was fine.

This is when I will do doggie with the pillow since it's almost no effort from me...

Otherwise I had been still girl on top as it's always my fav ( and idk if it's bc we've been there done that, but the belly doesn't seem to be too bothersome)

We've cut down to maybe 2-3x/week

Missionary is okay if I'm on the edge of the bed.  Otherwise, it feels a little awkward.  Doggie and me on top are the best.  As I've gotten bigger, us sitting up and facing each other makes room for my belly.

We are down to about one every week and a half on average. Mostly for Dh's sake, who has been amazing about waiting. It did take a few times of me explaining to him why we aren't doing ti as often for him to stop pushing for it and pouting when I say no.

When I have the energy, don't feel like my pelvic bones are sore, and don't feel like I'm going to vomit stomach acid if I move too much....it's almost always me on top. I like being able to control the depth and speed and I can't breath on my back for long.

If feel bad for hubs. At first he wanted it but I felt like crap. Then we were having it like twice a week, then we went through a 3 week or so dry spell. I wanted it and he's now weirded out by the baby so he's vetoed it. I did get him to do it twice in one day last week but nothing since. He just can't get past feeling her move around. I want laid! Grrrr.

Well I clearly win this one...been on pelvic rest since week 8...and (**TMI ALERT**) last night I had an orgasm IN MY SLEEP.  WHAAAA?!?  Didn't even have to DTD!  #winning  

No but in all seriousness...pelvis rest sucks.  I am not normally a sexaholic even when not pregnant, but I definitely miss that time to connect intimately with DH.  I know there are "other ways", and we've been doing most of those, but it's just not quite the same.  Looking forward to a semi-normal sex life after delivery...okay, waaaaay after delivery Ya'll keep gettin' it on, though!  Enjoy!!

Same for us, too!  Also like a modified doggie w/me standing and bent over using the bed as support, that way belly doesn't get in the way.

God, I must be old.  Seriously we never even do it weekly when I'm not pregnant!   And never on a work night!  I love the people who say we cut down to weekly or a few times a week!

Neither of us are into it at all and we are both totally fine with that...it's actually pretty nice. Daily sex sounds like some sort of medieval torture to me! I will admit that on my days off when I have the house to myself...
